Ok I don't think they touch upon it in the anime So, i think this wont spoil anything. So, according to the manga ,Armin's parents tried to leave the wall (This was way before Ep01 btw) in something similar to a hot air balloon ig but where taken down by the military police and the incident was covered up by the Military police(talking abt outside is a taboo**) and it is believed Armin never knew exactly how his parents were killed.

The titan form of Eren was actually completely healed when he first transformed, he cut his hands when he tried to punch Mikasa but she escaped him twice which made lose his hands by hitting them harshly to the walls, and that moment when she stood at his face to talk to him he wanted to punch her but she escaped him so he instead punched himself and smashed his face 🤡 well he lost the ability to heal because he was knocked out and Eren was in a dream and couldn't take control of the titan.
