I don't usually end a Patreon month on a piece of normal fanart but I rather like this piece and wanted to post it up. If you're not familiar with Ukyo, she's kinda my favorite of the characters that try to marry Ranma in Ranma 1/2. They actually come across as friends with Ranma, which is more than you can say for most of that cast in the old anime series.
The new anime series does a much better job of making Akane and Ranma seem like a compatible couple, even if the two of them do goof it up a lot. I'm looking forward to Ukyo making her appearance sometime.

been slowly getting through the original anime on hulu, and i absolutely agree ukyo is the best of ranma's fiances. only one who ranma actually knew and liked (and i think even got himself engaged to? i forget the exact details) and she's the most cordial with everyone. plus she has goals outside of romance, which is nice to see in a female character!

Shampoo was always my #1 choice back when I was reading the manga and then again when I watched the series (omg, it came out so long ago!!! :O). Frankly I liked all the female characters except Akane. Though the only character of that series who I outright hated was Happosai, still one of my all time most hated characters. But damn, I haven't thought of Ukyo in years. She really is a great character and I wouldn't have minded at all if Ranma had ended up marrying her. I kinda wanna watch the original series again, I have it somewhere along with all the movies on DVD.
