actually they showed erwin's dad... when hange tortured sannes, he told them about the people they murdered: historia's mom, a teacher (erwin's dad, bc little erwin talked too much), and a couple who tried to fly above the walls in a globe (armin's parents)

yeah it was a half way point. After this ending we waited for like a half a year.... I was so close to start reading the manga. I watched this episode with friends back then and we were all so confused after this ending scene. So hyped for the second half of this season.
