Alright everyone, we're trying something a bit new! Below you will see what our heroic possum avatar sees as the game begins, and from there all of you get to chime in with input. Ask questions, suggest what Markus should have her do next, etc - we will respond to your comments and integrate them into the next post. By all means, feel free to go wild with the ideas!

The possum reacted sluggishly at first, leaving Markus wondering just what mechanism was at work in controlling his alarmingly real looking avatar. That or maybe he was feeling indecisive, it was hard to tell. It was on the second try that the girl leaned down, plucking up the bundle of odd looking puff balls and the lacrosse stick before she eased into the room slowly. It made sense to him to pick that - it was the weirdest weapon, the most interesting, and it didn’t require getting up close and personal.
What remained to decide on was how to approach the problem. Markus knew of at least two of those - the presumed enemy squatting by the obvious exit, and whatever had poked its horn up near the vines. It stood to reason that one of them, the one laying in wait, knew where his possum was. The other not so much. The other might just be unawares, might not be inclined to dodge if the possum loaded a large puffy ball coated in some kind of garish pink powder into the lacross stick and hurled it toward the one thing she could see - the horn.
Markus only glimpsed the possum looking at her hand where a bit of the pink powder clung to it, his eyes (and those of just about all the spectators) were on the small fluffy orb as it flew across the space they occupied. The possum was apparently a decent shot given that it bounced right off the horn, leaving a visible splatter of pink dust everywhere around it.
For an awkward moment it seemed like nothing happened. The possum hesitated and fidgeted, the figure in the bushes had begun creeping forward and standing from his hiding place, all of which abruptly ended when the now pink laced horn shot up from the undergrowth in a hail of scattered water and snapping vines. Then came the roar.
The horn sat at the end of the nose of a brawny, overweight rhinoceros. One who was rubbing his nose and taking large, huffing breaths. One whose flabby belly was steadily being lifted upward a painfully obvious erection grew in while its owner looked around for the source of the attack. Markus immediately thought to hide, which left the possum doing the same. Lacking the benefit of an overhead view the feline who had popped up from hiding didn’t react quite so quickly.
For a few moments all Markus could do was watch as the rhinoceros started a heaving, wobbling sprint toward the cat who once more didn’t quite react quickly enough. There was a loud crash as the meteoric heap of muscle and flab hit the feline and barreled into the plants behind him, after which a second burst of pink dust flew into the air just above the greenery and all went a bit quiet. Briefly.
The grunting and the wet sucking noises began a moment later - and much to Markus’ relief, so too did the donations. For a few moments all he did was stare at the number ticking down, until he realized he had to keep ‘playing’. The possum jerked a little as he came to the realization, springing into motion and noisily rushing to the spot the rhino had just left. It was far from stealthy, but the other two occupants of the room didn’t seem all that interested in her now.
When the possum reached the vines Markus found himself wishing for, and promptly receiving, a mall window showing precisely what the possum could see. The vines did indeed seem to be covering something. A hatch, sporting a security keypad and some worn and faded writing that nonetheless had the ominous look of a warning label of some kind.
Behind, the sounds of a messy and increasingly gutteral mating session in the bush were getting louder still, but that would’t last forever.

I agree with the keypad. Most intrigue means higher donations and if it's old enough it might break

Thats, what, 24 permutations? Wouldn't take too long to brute force, really; may as well start with 2-0-6-8.

Even a cursory glance at the keypad tells the possum that it's pretty obvious some of these buttons have been pushed more than others. The 2, 0, 6, and 8 keys in particular have some of the paint worn off the numbers and a little more grime built up on them in total. In fact the whole thing looks kind of grungy. You'd ask yourself where this thing has been but the answer is probably 'bolted to the wall, obviously'.

Welp; the keypad is the most interesting thing to me, but it does have a warning label; plus we don't know any key codes. The obvious decision would be the tunnel, but where's the fun in that? If the goal with the keypad isn't too obvious and we take too long, then as long as we still have the floof hurler the biggest risk would be Captain Rhino boarding the SS Opossum. After having a go twice in a row he'd probably be tuckered out? And I sincerely doubt that the feline will be walking straight for awhile... I say check out the keypad!
