A grumble in her stomach reaffirmed Amourres’ priorities. Before doing anything else, the raven stumbled across to the open larder, its food spilling across the cracked and splitting wood. Any other time she might have been more wary of the sacks of food and cured meat that crowded the entryway, she might have examined their contents more closely for anything out of the ordinary. But ever since she had been dropped into this accursed obstacle course for morons she had been plagued by a hunger that had settled deep within her stomach, reminding her that it had been hours, perhaps even days since she had had a meal. For her that was practically bordering on unheard of. Without time to think about it further, Amourres grabbed the nearest hock of ham and brought it up to her ravenous beak. Instantly, she tore strip after strip of the tender meat from the bone, beak filled with the mouth watering substance before, with a gulp, the heavy payload travelled down her neck and she started the process over again. Refined etiquette had been thrown out the window along with caution, she didn’t care how many people were watching - and it was probably a significant amount. It didn’t matter. Right now there was only her, and the food.
Amourres spent more time at the entrance to the larder than she had perhaps planned on. After clearing her third ham of meat leaving nothing but a picked clean bone, the unsettling worry that she had been drugged like the hyena upstairs entered her mind. It was of course a concern, even if the cow-rat upstairs had indicated the food down here was untainted. But, as she reached for a juicy looking mango, the raven was able to pause. To stop. She could feel the ham she had eaten already sitting heavily in her stomach, pushing out the ridiculous pirate outfit she was wearing ever so slightly. She still felt hungry, yes, but she could stop if she wanted to, and that was important. As though testing this hypothesis, she remained paused, frozen in mid-reach towards the mango for several seconds, before allowing her guard to once again drop and her wing to clasp the fruit and bring it towards her beak. A faint sloshing, rustling noise indicated that she might have something of an audience in the bloated reptile beyond the walls of the ship, and the creaking of the stairs behind her told Amourres that someone was coming down to her floor, but she found that she didn’t particularly care at the moment. She continued to demolish fruits, pausing only to wipe their juice as it trickled down her chin as a matter of practicality more than care for her personal appearance. It was only another ten minutes later that her hunger was actually fully sated, her stomach hanging in front of her as though she were mildly pregnant and not just chubby as she had been when she entered the games.
Cradling her expanded gut and turning around, Amourres saw that the ratcow from before had managed to make her way downstairs and was watching her with some bemusement.
“Well it would’ve been more fun for me if you’d gone and done that upstairs, but I guess there’s plenty of other ways for me to retrieve the captain’s outfit.” Vic said, a grin crossing her buck toothed snout.
“Is that all you’re here for?” Amourres asked, turning her back on the ratcow for the moment and looking at the food. There was enough here to well and truly beach someone who was unsuspecting. The reptile-like creature laying and squirming in bliss beyond the ship looked just the right kind of person to eat themselves past the point of being a rival. By the way she was cradling her breasts and rubbing her engorged stomach for the public, she had absolutely no self control at all.
“Among other things.” The cowrat replied, grin never fading. She crossed her arms across her expansive chest and appeared to be waiting, watching Amourres. A prospect that unsettled the raven, but perhaps the cowrat could be persuaded into becoming an ally. Someone who knew the ins and outs of the competition would be useful. Fow now though, she had to get the lay of the land herself.
Turning back towards the open hole in the ship’s wall, Amourres hauled herself forward. She was unsteady at first, her stomach weighed her down in a manner that was unfamiliar to her. For a long, long time she had had access to the kind of medical care that made the inconveniences of gorging as she wanted trivial. Now it seemed she was made to bear the weight of her actions, quite literally.
See if there are any other hull breaches like the one that leads into the cavern, and if not, see if the cavern lets out into some kind of passage. Don't touch the medallion, humor yourself with the scaled balloon if you must. - Firefox
Amourres made a small lap of the lower hull of the boat, checking for any other breaches in the hull that could lead to other areas. Finding none, she stepped through the only breach available to her, and into the expansive, dark, cavern beyond. Once again she was impressed at the sense of decor the pirates exhibited. The cavern had a certain sense of beauty. On the walls she could see water’s reflection where clearly, there was no water to be seen. It had an eerie effect, like being in an indoor pool when the lights were out. As she stepped onto the rocky floor she saw, immediately, across the other side of the cavern was a set of heavy looking rocky doors. There was no handle, nor any other visible means of opening them that she could see, so she assumed they were opened via some kind of password or other mechanism. Beyond the bloated, faintly sloshing reptile in front of her, Amourres could see what appeared to be a large stone platform, inlaid with golden patterns. The platform looked out of place as it, and the door, seemed to be the only man-made structures within the cavern that was otherwise almost natural looking.
“Ah, she arrives.” The reptile lady giggled to some unspoken joke before turning herself with a grunt and facing Amourres, as she lay. The result was no small avalanche of wobbling looking flesh, and the sloshing sound Amourres heard earlier was amplified - was the reptile... full of some kind of liquid? The lady began caressing herself again and moaning gently, obviously putting on a show.
Amourres blinked. “Am I supposed to be impressed?” She asked, curious. “I’ve seen much bigger than you in my time. Made much bigger than you.”
In response, the other lady’s smirk of a smile spread into a toothy grin. “You promising me a good time?” She laughed, the sound like trickling water. “Come now, might as well enjoy yourself. This is as far as we get. I tried everything to get those doors open, wouldn’t budge.”
That would certainly explain why the reptile was down here enjoying herself for the cameras. She had come to a dead end, so was trying to rack up credits with anything left to her. The viewers would donate to see someone ballooning, and she was determined to make a show of it. Amourres tucked that piece of information away in the back of her mind, it could be useful to manipulate the woman. Before she could speak again, lady before her licked her lips and smiled, “I’m Ignia, by the way. Not that you asked.” She giggled, again.
“Amourres,” The raven replied. The golden medallion glimmered in the half light beside Ignia, drawing Amourres’ eyes. As though in response, the reptile seemed almost to reach out and grab it with a sense of possessiveness about them, but hesitated at the last second.
“Ah, my little treasure.” Ignia explained, hand hovering over the medallion. “I didn’t get like this from eating fruit and ham.” She added with a smirk. “I’d be willing to share... maybe. It could be good for viewers. Have us mmm... grinding up against each other’s bloated stomachs. All sloshing and round and growing.” She paused to bite her lip. “If you promised not to hog it all to yourself. What do you say?”
Amourres didn’t reply right away, her eyes went back to the stone platform behind her, and the door behind that. She could feel the cowrat’s eyes on the back of her head, and remembered the overstocked larder. It seemed like, not for the first time since she stepped foot on the ship, she had a choice to make.
She could explore the stone platform and the door - they were no doubt linked and if she wanted to progress through the obstacle course in this direction they were a puzzle that she would have to solve. Not that she didn’t have the start of an idea forming as to what they were for.
She could take Ignia and lead her to the larder, the bloated lizard-critter would no doubt crumble the moment she got within reach of food. It would be an easy way to eliminate someone from the game.
As much as she loathed to consider it an option, she could take Ignia up on her offer. At least for a little bit. Amourres was no stranger to hedonism, the feeling of being taut and round was one she cherished when she could get it. But could she stop herself before she got too big? And would whatever was filling Ignia even be something she could remove, once she won the games? Things tended to be permanent, as far as pirates were concerned.
And then there was the cowrat who had followed her. If she wanted, she could ask the other lady whether or not there was another way out. The longboats on the top deck in particular stood out to her now that she thought about it.

You're here to win and escape, not to lower yourself for the enjoyment of the low-lifes watching this broadcast. The stone platform is likely a pressure plate linked to the stone doors and this 'Ignia' found the medallion in the room, possibly even on the platform, made to make her heavy enough to activate the pressure plate and open the doors. Clearly she was too busy groping herself to put two and two together. The cowrat is watching, and Ignia seems more than eager to make a spectacle of herself. Oblige her by making her think you're into rolling scaly balloons around, make her large enough to roll if that's not yet feasible, and then send her tumbling right onto the pressure plate. But don't for a minute take that amulet. That's what they want you to do and that's not how you're going to win.

Hmm... Kinda playing off of the other ideas, it does seem like that platform could be a pressure plate, and maybe Ignia just didn't have enough weight to trigger it yet. With her offer on the table, maybe Amourres could borrow the medallion to enjoy it and in trade bring food and help feed Ignia while they both lay on the platform and grow together. In a turn for the devious, once the platform finally has enough weight to open the door, Amourres gets off the platform, but it raises back up and closing the door, since there's now not enough weight on it. To solve the problem, she just places the medallion back on dragon, where she now cannot reach with her newly food-stuffed middle, once more filling her with the mystery liquid with no way to stop it. After a bit of waiting and plenty of swelling on her new "friend's" part, the mechanism triggers once again. With the door open, Amourres can leave the dragoness to her swelling fate and walk through the opened door.

I think this is the best course of action, maybe trick her over to the stone platform with some "convincing" aka some fun time. Then once she gets too big to reach just leave the medallion under her~

I am on the same thought as Benadryl, and if she wanted to eliminate someone after she had her fill of the medallion, she could put it somewhere the lizard couldn’t reach after getting too big... under a side, or between her belly and a breast, for example. That is, if touch alone activates it, not intent to grab it too.

The stone platform reads a lot like a pressure plate. Maybe she can persuade Ignia to move to it? If the plate will need more weight, perhaps she could take the reptilian up on her offer? At least for a bit ;)
