Readers and authors have a bit of a conflict of interest when it comes to cliffhangers, I feel. As a reader, they're pretty annoying. As an author, they are immensely satisfying. >:)

Brilliant chapter. Silverlake always manages to liven things up. Also I was wondering if Fortov's quarrel would somehow link to the timeloop but I had to laugh at his reason.
