Chapter Delay and Poll Results
🕑 Added 2022-04-17 15:17:52 +0000 UTCThe chapter will unfortunately have to be pushed back by a day, cause it's definitely going to cross 8k words, probably even 9k. I want to get finished with Dungeon-intro, Junior Tournament, and Perk selections in this very chapter (without rushing), so that the next will leave only the 1st quidditch match and Halloween quest (where he'll be getting his first mutation). So by Ch. 22, we should be proceeding to marvel quest, and maybe even get some X-men cameo. Thnx for your understanding!
Now for the last perk selection poll, the result are as follows:
- Flexible as Rubber: 15
- Inhuman Acrobat: 59
- Hawkeye: 35
So, Harry's Dex perk will be Inhuman Acrobat! Not my first choice from the given options but good enough for now. Also, those who wanted Hawkeye or Flexible, don't worry. The options that aren't chosen now will arrive in the next perk selection (For Dex, of course).
Oh and also don't worry about this not making sense from Harry's point of view. If you guys select an option that doesn't matches Harry's personality (or if I fail to fit it in his thought process), then I am more likely to go with his choice than the polls rather than force an option on him.
Next, I'm going to create two more polls shortly after this cause Harry's Str and Vit are also going to reach 50 in this very chapter.
Sorry for the 3rd delay in this month, but hey...the chapters are all massive aren't they? And massive chapters take time. Also curious, but what do you guys generally prefer? An average 6k words chapter that's on time, or a massive one (8k-10k) that takes an extra day? I'm usually able to write more satisfying conclusions for bigger chapters but I've never seen it from your perspective, so do let me know.
With that said, I'll see you all shortly in the polls!

Well, I'd say 6k is more preferable so you don't suffer burnout. I think you need to focus less on the 'massive' word count and more on the quality of the words written. You are more than capable of crafting the story with a more concise word count while still making advances in the story/plot line.
