Nice chapter, and good to have you back. Poor Fletcher, even if he wasn’t exactly a beloved character, but damn you really killing off canon characters even if they were of the questionable variety if Fletcher and Rufus are any indication. A part of me is wondering why Harry is taking so long to complete his rituals since I was under the impression he HAD to complete them within a certain timeframe lest there be severe consequences on him and his magic. And when I saw that bit about the Malfoys begging for Harry’s protection, can’t help but think Narcissa goes out of her way to “convince” Harry, and given that Lucius told Draco that he needed to get in Harry’s good graces by any means including essentially pimping out Pansy, I could see it happening
