Major foreshadowing was an understatement lol. Those tarot cards were a little too accurate for JK’d tastes… but they should at least take into consideration what the warnings were since he was right about everything else… JK is in major denial and it’s gonna cause problems between them

I want to believe that deep inside JK knows that his father isn’t going to change from 1 day to the next. I mean he spent JK’s whole life manipulating & abusing him. If he didn’t stand up to him & beat him that day he would 100% be engaged & planning to be a lawyer right now. He loves Tae & I really don’t want them fighting over his dad. Tae has grown up knowing & seeing how violent & controlling his dad is & has every right to be wary of this sudden “change” in behavior towards JK. He knows how much Tae loves him & is only looking out for him because he doesn’t want him to get hurt again. I know that seeing his dad act “supportive” is new to him & he really wants to believe they can have a healthy relationship but I hope he hasn’t forgotten about all of the amount of times that he was left feeling hurt, scared & lost throughout his life. People like him, abusers like him don’t change. He shouldn’t compare his change to his fathers, not everyone is the same & his father knows how to put a facade when necessary to get what he wants. He’s just not doing it violently now since that will only drive JK further away.
