Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve: Chakra Affinity

Yesterday, in CH_173 (6.2), I wrote a fight in which I wrote that Lightning is weak to Earth.
So, first of all, I would like to apologize to @Ryuu248. I replied to your comment without thinking much about it. You were correct.
In the Narutoverse— Lightning is strong to Earth.
After I read the further replies to the comment thread today, I found questioning myself why I confused the chakra relationships— when during the Frost mission, I had written Earth weaker to Lightning.
I immediately found the answer.
I had recently watched a video titled [Made My Girlfriend Play Pokemon FireRed]. In that, the girlfriend is a newbie to the Pokemon and thus its type advantage system, so she tries to remember them by relating them to phrases.
For example,
- Bugs eat Grass (Bug > Grass)
- Bird eat Bugs (Flying > Bug)
- Use Rocks to pelt Birds (Rock > Flying)
And one of those phrases were:
- You ground electricity (Ground > Electric)
Which I used in my reply to @Ryuu248.
It turns out that I liked that phrase so much that I applied it to the Narutoverse as well. To be honest, it makes so much fucking sense.
I won't be changing the Narutoverse's original five "type advantage" chart (the image above). The other chakra affinity relationship will be based on general common sense.
Like,
Water is Weak to Lightning.
Note: But not all chakra affinity need to be a in strong-weak relationship.
Saying that, I will be reworking the fight. Nothing much will change. Just the bit between Takuma using Earth Dome and the opponent getting blasted by explosive tags.

One thing to remember about Elemental Affinities is that they are NOT absolute, literally in the same episode that Maruboshi was introduced a Kunoichi was all "Ha, because my affinity is earth and water is weak to earth that means your water jutsus won't affect mine!" and then Maruboshi penetrated her earth jutsus with water like it was nothing. Elemental affinities are just an advantage, but one that can be overcomed if you're strong enough. So you don't have to change the fight too much, just have Takuma say something like "Earth might be weak to lightning, but I'm stronger than him and that means my dome managed to hold just enough for me to set up my trap".

I think more discussion should be made on the Lightning vs Earth debate. Shinobi probably put Lightning > Earth because lightning users should be able to blitz earth users, not because they think the element of lightning is stronger than earth itself. When a lightning user puts out a lightning Jutsu, the earth user not only has to react to the jutsu but their own defensive wall has to come up faster than the attack speed of the lightning trying to hit them. In most scenarios the earth user wouldn't be able to defend themselves in time but if they are able to get their wall up in time then Earth should be able to stop the lightning attack. The other point I want to bring up is that a lot of the strongest lightning users like the Raikages use physical attacks with their lightning. So shinobi may perceive that lightning > earth when in actuality its lightning + Taijutsu that is beating earth not lightning jutsu alone. Overall Lightning > Earth in most scenarios as Earth users could get blitzed but it turns into even/Earth favored in a drawn out fight. edit: drawn out fights that last too long could go back to being lightning favored as the lightning user would force the earth user to expend more chakra to defend. I still think earth > lightning if two jutsus of the same rank collide but the fighting style surrounding lightning gives them more opportunities to win against earth. More experienced earth users should be able to win against lightning though.
