Love the choice of unit; it fits Takuma and his objectives really well. I feel so giddy just thinking about what hijinks he is going to get up to as an Inquisitor ANBU (amazing unit title btw). Awesome story so far!

FictionOnlyReader

Damn, you're correct. My bad. I will fix it so they don't mention ANBU.

Marcin

"I don't want to become reliant on them. Imagine we get out of ANBU after five years, and I'm suddenly out of touch with the market for half a decade and clueless about fair rates. Letting myself become dependent on them doesn't seem the smart thing to do. What kind of shinobi would I be if I didn't know how to get my own weapons," I thought that was a conversation in weapon store ? Sorry if i misunderstood that :D

FictionOnlyReader

If you look at the dialogue, you would notice they don't mention it even once. They talked about team assignment and mission type—and all of that is not unique to ANBU. When Takuma talked to the ANBU staff introduced by Sango, you will notice that they did it in a private room in the restaurant. I have it in the back of my mind, so I make sure that they aren't yapping in the middle of a crowd of hot ears

Marcin

Hmm a little nitpick... they mention Anbu in public a lot :D wasnt that supposed to be a secret ?

I honestly can’t wait to see if Shadow Clone is actually as hype as we all think it is, or if there are serious issues to using it as a training tool. Something like causing some degree of brain damage if to much information flows back from the clone, migraines, or even fragmentation of information. Considering it’s noted to be used for scouting I’d assume these aren’t issues/risks, but the Shadow Clone training method has always seemed implausible, you know?

“Strength is power, but knowledge is everything.” Good to see Takuma focusing on what truly makes a ninja.

LOOKOUT

Won't this'll mean that he probably won't be on the same team as people such as itachi, kakashi and yamato because I'm assuming that they would join the assault force.

Oblivious Bookwyrm

Fugaku’s position was more overt tho, and probably dealt with more basic corruption like Tax evasion, embezzlement, abuse of power, that kind of thing. Not hunting down ROOT agents. He’d have been a publicly known rat, the kind of ninja every other fellow ninja hated

Dodgy

Can't wait for this arc.

Paradoxez Novel Reader

Inquisitor unit work sounds like the 'Corruption Investigation' that Fugaku was trying to assign him to but on a larger scale. I guess Fugaku really did see something in Takuma's talent after all

DraponsArmy

Hype. Our boys been moving in this direction for a while

LOOKOUT

Peak chapter as always

“This is a great store*”. First line typo. Other than that it was great
