H

Is this doodle-Takuma or his inner hollow…?

Boobby hill

Man what a bummer Fakuma is angst about a ruined life over someone who he should know didn't t have any control over this crap I mean he should probably know Reminds me of when salura had that inner voice when she was a genin Thanks for the chapter

Kaidus

Feels like it is unnecessary convoluted and meant to drag things out.

Oblivious Bookwyrm

I think you might be right, that this is a manifestation of Takuma’s guilt in taking over the kid’s body rather than the kid himself, but we can’t discount the idea of a spiritual hanger-on in a world of ninja magic.

Ptbv

what is the point of this chapter? it's boring

Marcin

Yeah no, even if thats actually what remains of og takuma he cant do shit. He wouldnt have the willpower for it. He was someone who fucking let himself die without any effort to change shit. I dont see someone like that clawing his way out of limbo... Id say thats more of Takumas repressed regrets over the OG, that grown along the years. After all they talk the same, they show the same stubborn refusal to just lay down.

Fleisch

Really? I quite like it. It adds an interesting aspect to the story. Will Takuma come to terms with this boy. Will he be able to make a shadow clone and transfer the boy into it? Will he be able to permanently make a body for the boy so they can go their separate ways. Who knows, I can’t wait.

Lucaman_P

original takuma was weak he simply die by simple math./jk

Jabari Lambert

The thing is as Takuma is right now there is no world in which I see him coming to a resolution using love or peaceful measures. If anything he will promise the boy violence against root or beat the boy into submission

Javier Ricaurte

I like this development but I also think it should be resolved soon, now that Takuma knows about the existence of Grey he should try to come to an understanding with him, hell, go full Naruto and hug the kid, he certainly needs it, he must surely know that fighting him will get no results and even if it wasn't his fault he needs to show compassion, maybe convince him that working together they can take out those responsable for the situation (assuming he remembers what ROOT did to him).

Myrdin

I find that memory drama unnecessarily long. It has been hinted at for such a long time, yet it is not getting closer to finish.

Al

Sigh, don't even know what this is. Annoying though.

Kyle Spence

I feel this should resolve quickly. As it feels like a un necessary self drama when naruto world offers so much more to be part of not to mention his genjustus development seems to have stalled.

Xardas2995

Not really excited by how this went but I hope you set up some excitign and nice journey to a resolution in the future. I just don't want to see Takuma being bogged down by another thing in the form of a hostile entity in his own mind. Still I should have known such a thing would come after the positive outlook from the last chapter.

Chris

Hmm will this be like a karuma situation? Where he can lend chakra or gather sage energy for him if he needs it?

Xardas2995

That is a nice expression.

Xardas2995

Next stage switching who is in control and see who can kill more Root agents.

Alchem

Couple typos and errors and you have repeated text of the following: “In his clinic's office, Inenpachi opened one eye and stared in shock at his patient. He still had a connection with Takuma's mind, but his presence had vanished. It was a strange feeling he couldn't describe because he had never experienced anything even remotely like it. The shell of Takuma's mind was still there, but the core had disappeared.”

Luca Brunacci

I feel like we've made progress, but also the progress bar has quadrupled in size

Mohammed Sheekh

Hey at least now they are on speaking terms, before it was just who can scream the loudest lol

Kale Daley

Well then...

xJehova

Thanks for the update! I like this exploration of the cost of reincarnation. The psychology major in me can’t get enough of the therapy scenes and inner dialogue happening in Takuma’s mind. I look forward to seeing how Takuma handles his Shadow.
