Misery

The Holy Grey Goo spell rocks. Interesting combination of the best parts of spells shown individually throughout the novel. The hymn to 2 gods imagery is a nice touch too.

David Giles

"Fuck it. I need a new plan." - Professor Replica, likely soon.

Ironically prof replica is likely more stable now he’s an android

I'm just dumb and misread the post, but it seems a bit glossed over that heather is now just pregnant, my original post with something I misread but there should probably be a bit more exposition into that sometime.

Cory C.

Just got around to reading the edits. The expansion to PPP, and the fight in general, is a definite improvement. Having the good professor put into a little girl and displaying that their powers have been severely reduced gives both a fun future plot point and a good reason for them to take a back seat for a bit. I agree with some of the comments that some explanation on the how of it could be neat, even if it is as simple as him having made a law with his powers to execute at the moment of death or something like that, but that can easily wait until the main cast becomes aware of his survival. Misplaced space: Perry wasn’t sure if he had actually been fast enough to interpose the spell between himself and the hail of gunfire and lasers, or if Professor Replica was simply ***usin git "using it"***

Still want to know how Replica got reborn into another body AND still has his powers, as he didn't go into the digitizer and I thought that was the point of it?

King Eater

Was the ending to this chapter heavily edited? Everyone is talking about Billy, but I only see a Stacy.

I think the Spell has a max of 6 charges but only started with 1. We don’t know how long it takes this spell to build charges, so for all we know it might be a week long recharge.

Alexis Najarro

As fun as the fight was,my biggest gripe with PPP was that it is presented as a an uber powerful spell that involves, pardon my french, magical fuckry when used. Not to put you in any boxes and Replica, artfully presented, is an SSS tier threat that pushes Perry's entire arsenal, but having him use his supposedly busted original spell at the x6 benchmark kinda makes it feel hollow. Especially x2 when the purpose is for the base level spell to be Sweeper level. The reason why I mentioned earlier not to put you in a box is that typically when new game breaking spells or powers are involved, to really drive in how special-awesome-mc op it is, the base level power should've immediately given him a leg up. Then to drive in Replica's strength having him need to then drive it up to kaioken x6. As it is, him using up all 6 charges makes the spell seem underwhelming compared to what the label said on the box. Perry specifically stated when the spell was first added to his soul that it had 6 charges, so unless this was a typo and in fact it was supposed to use all 6 slots resulting in 1 use at time, then I take back my gripe, which would make it reasonable. But the explanation leads me to my first two paragraphs.

Ellija

It'd be fun to make the spell name change every time its brought up. Make it a bit of a paradox.

Michael Seedorf

Maybe change the spellname to "Perry's practical powerhouse."
