Nicholas Grey

Oooh, Perry has re-create and upgraded the concept of Buddhist prayer wheels!

Pastor Joubert

This “gods” thing should lead to a realization that people have been worshiping gods of money and war and stuff this whole time, but the influence itself was being overwritten by the god of creation… and perhaps the tide itself was triggered by earth as humanity continued to bend reality to make its computers and gizmo’s work. The transistor isn’t real - we just tinker twitched it hard enough with the influence of a higher dimensional being - the spread of information across the planet accelerated the worship of this god and its influence warped reality enough that our technology works and all of our measurements being weird is us looking closer and closer at the truth - up until the influence of this god ripped through the multiverse because we looked at it. Eldrich horror, magic, technology all in one lore thread that makes the world complete and noncontradictory. We can also say that Manitian magic is similar and uses the influence of the same god as earth tech - but balanced out with rituals to the other gods. Earth is the way it is because the tide only affected people and their tech, while in Manitia due to the influence of many many goods everywhere it became a whole different can of worms. Earth is the way it is because it basically polluted the universe with faith in science to such a strong degree that the multiverse snapped from our invitation of another beings influence.

spelling mistake!

Finn

Is there a difference between aeronite and areonite or is that a spelling mistake

Jeanean

Ah, yes, nothing better then a bit of industrial level of purposeful sacrilege. Finally, we are getting to the point where the story does its name proud!

Romen Martin

Heather would kill perry for making nat cry then cry herself

Ben Roberts

It’s a sacrifice, in the “sacrificial anode” sense. Love it

Jasper Cooke

The only way I see that happening is another Magical Snaffu. Perry seems wholly attached to his Nat/Heather/Baby relationship so I can't really see him intentionally impregnating anyone. (Although as an R18 stand alone that sounds really fun)

Cyrus McEnnis

Parasites are usually INCREDIBLY dependent on their hosts, and we know androids can be differentiated from humans by inspecting their brains. If that's the case, then immunity to brain worms is fairly easily hand-waved away IMO.

Code Reed

You have a point there Cyrus. They already show immunity to mind control. So it's possible they are immune to brain worms too. Though, unless they were specifically made to resist them, I'm not sure how they could be immune to a parasite like that.

mhaj58

What would happen if Perry impregnated an Android? Would it be able to inherit his system and Abun zauls magic? There’s a real opportunity for a real FAAFA regarding another kid.

Cyrus McEnnis

Also, Androids might well be immune to brain worms.

Jacob

It's only a problem if not fully cooked I think

Jacob

Knowing Perry Gintax gonna show up and be like " Dude really"

Andrew Duan

How is everyone avoiding brain worms? They’re eating a ton of hunted meat

Cyrus McEnnis

So what you're saying is a way to both preserve and season the pike fillets?

Cyrus McEnnis

Weaponised sacrilege. As someone mentioned below, what could possibly go wrong?

Bunny Waffles

Not people turned into pillars of salt mind you, just a ton of random pillars popping into existence out of nowhere.

Enkelados

So Perry created the first 1 khz CBU (Central Befouling Unit). We will see what wonders the new age of Industrial worship creates.

Macronomicon

Pillars of salt as far as the eye can see.

Person

What a great idea! Nothing could possibly go wrong! What's the worst thing that could happen?

Apoca

Perry can get away only sacrificing the blood. His perk should work on it, right?

Macronomicon

This is the culmination of a weapon idea i had like...almost a year ago now. There's just never been a good place to fit it.
