Don

Idk I'd still rather he go for either hard ass, or astral tread (tho this could really bloom) just something direct because for all the not wanting to be a straight warrior he's in and will continue to be in a lot of fights where a direct combat boost is still sorely needed.

TheShadowSlayer_

He hasn’t used that space warping since before the tournament. Did the mask’s ability change, or has he forgotten about it? I feel like it would have been useful during the shadow man assault, or when sneaking around the Floating Church. P.S. I don’t know what you have planned for the break out, but I for one know of a level 40 priestess on the ground floor who would be very fucking interested in rescuing a certain orphan.

Nate Oppy

William Oh's latest fashion endorsements transcend mere clothing, forging a collection that channels the raw elegance of the insect kingdom into high couture. The Wasp Waistcoat cinches the form with lethal precision, while the Bee Bomber hums with honeycomb textures and golden allure. The Scarab Sandals shimmer with iridescent grandeur, echoing ancient dynasties, and the Mandible Belt clasps its wearer with predatory force. Finally, the Firefly Scarf glows like twilight embers, a whisper of luminescence in the dark. Each piece is a metamorphosis and testament to nature’s brilliance.

Scott

So, with phantom eye and hand, Will can now loot the bottom of the ocean.

Amit Gupta

Reggie's contract expires at the holder reaching Level 30 I believe. You might need to add something regarding that as well.

Macronomicon

maybe. I like to work from narrow application to wide, so i'd probably start with just his body, then allow an upgrade to apply it to his Abilities.

Baines

oh god flashbacks to mind eating continent level threat in goodguys

Alphabetical

Wouldn't stubborn ass have synergised massively with his terrain manipulation?

Notcreepycreeper

I like the reasoning that if the other abilities can be added to PE it's best to get it first. Bc those abilities can then be upgraded, which basically makes it the same as upgrading the PE itself, but better bc those abilities would also work with Will's real eyes

RedeyeA

Uru Drake Progenitor should be Uru Drake Primogenitor in the Uru Drake's Eye description.

Ranger Science

Phantom Eye is great, although there's part of me that was really hoping for Uru Drake's Eye. I suspect other forms of remote viewing are more common that straight-up additional senses, but both are excellent. PE seems like it'll be less useful more often, while UDE would've been more useful less often? Being able to see how much charge someone else has, and weird invisible traps, seems like a trump ability... but being able to zoom through walls to spy on your foes is going to be useful *a lot*.

Mariposa

Also, Frankenstein's monster. Since he's literally stitched together from different people. The sacrifice could homebrew new relics by stitching different pieces together.

Mariposa

A book worm!

Farxzay

Maybe something like the Eldritch Fashionista’s Relic parasite that takes on aspects of different relics? Do we know what the original sacrifice that led to that ability was? Or, could be a monster that can fuse together with a bunch of other monsters into a giant ball of limbs and body parts.

Andrew

Thank you!

Thomas Issa

Deceiver’s molt was a very good way to show the increased influence of Oroborus

Macronomicon

LOL!

Vinohr

The Tankweaver Spider slays monsters from ambush for their relics and then uses its magical silk to create a mobile shelter and defensive weapon, the component parts of which become virtually inseparable and visually indistinct, being pulled into one another over time.

Emily Gurnavage

I like robots, but then I had an idea so im movin the robot bit to the bottom. What about a big-ass magical grub? Its horse sized, for fun. Its secretions magically fuse things (rocks fused to tree roots, a burrow sturdier than it has any right to be, predators are terrified of it, idk) and if it crawls over relics they blend together and crumble/explode/react badly to the sudden uncontrolled merging. So its not useful to use the creature itself for merging, but a sacrifice from it used the right way can be. If you step in the the secretions when its too fresh, your foot will quickly begin to merge into the ground. Think teleporter accident. Foot isn't IN the ground, it IS now the ground. Which is horrifically painful and requires amputation above the merge point and regrowing of the limb. If you *fall* in it... oof. . Considering the implications about humanity being advanced in the past and things cycling and such, some sort of robot that fuses things sounds good. I don't think we have seen stuff like that yet but as the floors get higher I expect to prooooolly eventually see more signs of a past advanced civ and robots are in line with that. I think the Tower itself and Reese's prison were the only advanced civ signs so far.

Tftc

Tom C

Relic Toad Using its long tongue it eats the relics off of climbers and then displays one of the effects of said relic. Not often fought by climbers because of the risk of losing key pieces of gear and getting their effects thrown in their faces Edit: feel free to change the monster type or way it eats the relics if toad has been used too often so far (can’t remember). You get the gist of it!

Edward Jeffs

William oh knows when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows when you have crossed him, so run for goodness sake.

Enzo Elacqua

Maybe one of the saint remnants from Jason’s prison could work. Have someone be the great rejoinder or something who was capable of altering peoples builds through his beliefs in Granesh

Gam

You’ve already said humanoids can be sacrifices. A crafter seems fitting no? Maybe a kobold perhaps? A rival of the luminary?

Quex

If you want to go organic you could look at things that combine different elements together and expel as waste like caterpillars or termites. Apparently it's called Frass.

Logrus

Some kind of randomizer monster. Like a chimera who's animal parts change at random, perhaps?

The Arcane Emperor

A mimic perhaps. Or a chimera.

Macronomicon

added/modified 4 Abilities from the Suggestions. There were several suggestions that I liked, but were more appropriate as upgrades rather than standalone abilities. Sorry about the delay and the fact this chapter is 99% reviewing the potential Teritiary Abilities and explaining my reasoning for which one I chose, which took a couple days to compile while on vacation. After review, I also realized that WIll had already sacrificed the Erosion Golem offscreen, and he is in the market for the next sacrifice to unlock Relic modification, but I've never added it. What kind of monster do you think would allow WIll to add effects to Relics? Some kind of dwarf, or a robot that fuses things together? Or some kind of fae that can bind people into objects? suggestions welcome.
