Kyraen Bubblewood

I’m pretty sure Caddock said 3 days not Mason.

Ethan Barrow

TFTC!! Man I wanna see Caddock go down already!

Alan Ben Sen Clem

it could be inferred theoretically as his hand was missing despite his climber status and Jason could have spilled the beans during his time with the Church of Granesh. I'm more surprised with Will basically explaining his plan in combat lol

Chai

When did caddock figure out the real form of wills phantom hand? I thought he only knew it as a dimensional storage that is an eidolon? The first time he got a chance to see it in action will already had the set that turned it into snakes. And if I remember correctly every time he speculates about wills kit he calls it a dimensional storage that allows him to swap relics or something and never a hand specifically.

Beeees!

Maybe Will asking for how much time he needs is actually a brilliant plan, cause Craddock will assume he's lying and will be searching high and low before then tryna find the trap

RedInkQuill

Titan Will needs three days to fill his hand with a bolt of lightening. Mason jar of bees delivers a message that is frightening.

ChildConsumer

Femboy eldritch mage...

Moon Winchester

I just realize Mason is slowly becoming an eldritch abomination with the amount of dimensional layers inside of him. When you think of the concept of an eldritch horror, Mason is literally the explanation of an eldritch horror. I hope his advanced class evolution is Eldritch Dimensional mage or something like that

Justin Carroll

Is there a subscription tier that will let me read the chapters you haven't written yet? Thanks

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter. He should have asked for 4 days.

Mrfacemanlol

He should have given him a message that said 4 days

Jake

I was so engrossed i didnt notice, but this is a really good point. Just a mention of why theybare not there or a small encounter would strengthen the story.

Kion Smith

Will can't leave the floor until caddock dies or calls back hos bounty, so he can't retreat.

JustJames

While I do understand that Caddock is the big bad guy right now I am a bit surprised that this floors monsters have been a big non-issue and not mentioned at all. I understand that Will is pretty powerful but to not have any is a bit disappointing I was looking forward to seeing the creative enemies you might create especially after the Fey. If I could make a suggestion when you make your edits and revisions for Amazon, Kindle or such write a small encounter where Will fights one and he wins easily, it would be a lot better to see why to Will they are a non issue rather then not mention it at all. My suggestion have the enemies manipulate the terrain pushing people back and attacking them at range or making the earth try to swallow them but Will's aspect of the serpent lets him ignore a majority of what makes them dangerous and lets him not have to worry about them. That's all, I have been enjoying this and I enjoyed ISM, keep up the good writing.

Ano Ano

Offering negotiations as a time buying gambit and only asking for exactly how much time he needs is oddly dumb for Will.

Monus

I thought they would blow the Brianna Bomb at the end of the chapter to wreck havock. But now I am mostly just confused.

Mundane

If something makes no sense on the surface in a story with a protagonist who has shown themselves to be very intelligent multiple times written by an author who has shown their intelligence over multiple books...you are probably missing something.

Monus

Concerns mostly addressed. Though I honestly do not understand the motivation for negotiations. Caddock has one objective, which is Will's death. And sort of by how that usually goes, Will's one objective here is to make sure Caddock can't follow up on that. So sort of mutual exclusive goals. Also, will should have at least high balled the number of days until he is ready to use the next relic. Personally, I would argue, that the best move here, would be a temporary retreat to floor nine for a couple days. So he can brew some more items/sets. Doesn't have to be great, just decent and so everyone can rest for a few days. Also, if they now where Caddock is, they should have at least tried to soften him up a bit. I thought this entire thing was dragging on exactly because they didn't know his location.

Macronomicon

Eh, we can still change it, I suppose.

Thomas Issa

Brianna can also relay information and Mason is a Trojan horse

Andrew

Thank you!

Stanisław Drewienkowski

In somewhat puzzled by the negotiations, I tought this was an All Out War, since the only reason for Cadocs rebellion is to kill Will, no wiggle room there, if he let’s him go now, he is goeing to get stronger and stronger, entrenching himself to the point Cadoc won’t be able to touch him, and possibly bring ruin. And Will knows somewhat what the paladin thinks. So if the hammer will be ready anyway, what’s the point of negotiations, it’s not like there will be ceasfire in the meantime, Caddoc is unlikely to surrender, and if the Hammer is ready anway, at that point Will holds all the cards, but also stands in blast radious of his weapon

Alex Anderson

I was thinking of Will bluffing to say “let’s meet in 4 days” when his timer is 3. I suppose we will see how it plays out, might not make any difference

Van234

This seems stupid. I do not understand what he gains from this. If there is no plan to use Mason inside enemy camp than he just gives a prisoner and loses his own nuker and gives enemy info, who knows they might have a mindreader there and mason will provide everything he knows.

Daedalus

Why didn’t Will ask for a 5-day meeting? He literally thought about how that was tantamount to saying when things would happen, and then just… did it anyway?
