Huruki

And another one today, the author has forgotten about us poor fan tier subscribers 😢

Karma

Yea that keeps happening to me!

Tristan Howard

Yes please fix. I have the $5 fan membership and only access up to ch.17. I keep getting emailed chapters past 17 but I don't have ch.18, so I'm kinda bummed.

Huruki

Pretty sure that was an error and it got set to the right patron level pretty quick after, same thing happened with ch19 a week or so ago. Hope we get an announcement soon about how this is going to be working for the next little bit

Karma

Is there any More chapters that should be available for people subscribed at the fan level? I saw an email about a chapter 25, but I don’t see that in the patron app.

Tyfc! Not sure if Will is using phantom hand without recalling thinking about it (which would definitely be in character) or if this is a typo that should be “hand” instead of “hands” btw: “ Will clapped his hands over his mouth..”

austin kutz

It might make sense if he takes a sight based ability from the gravity goat ability tree, but I kinda doubt it would be worth it. Better off getting something like spatial sense from the Uru Drake tree, since that provides more synergy with his phantom hand. Besides, having dragon eyes is way more impressive than goat eyes

Macronomicon

hahah, lol.

Cyrus McEnnis

From the way the story and character has been portrayed so far - Will is looking for broken skill combinations above all others. So he's going to be very, very cautious about his upgrade path. Balancing that with availability and progression is going to be interesting. In his shoes I'd normally look for strong passive abilities, because I way prefer consistent performance over burst capability, but Will is looking for stuff that breaks things.

Jake

Would be hilarious if at that point his eyes become square too, some downside to the upside and he sometimes bleats. Or is that too much ?

Macronomicon

at a certain point I think he'll just walk on microscopic dust particles in the air.

RainbowCatTopHat

When he crossed the rickety bridge I was thinking to myself does his Aspect of the Goat have any effect in a situation like that? Like it supernaturally assists his footing but how does that work on the bridge, does only the plank under his foot grow sturdier or the rope or does the effect make the entire bridge less likely to break by a small percent? It might just be a case where the effect is too weak right now to be noticeable, which makes me wonder what kind of shenanigans he will be able to get up to with 100+ stat points and multiple upgrades to the skill. Could he walk over a ravine like it was flat ground as the edges of the gap extend to support his feet even from a distance of dozens of meters?

Waxazillion

I'm seeing each chapter as a snapshot of one of Chuck Norris's alternative lives, one where some of the hyperbole can be flavored by reality. I really dig it.

austin kutz

If it's William Oh we're talking about, for sure. Unless you're doing some foreshadowing...?

Joshua Gunty

I really love the tall tales aspect of this, Ive always been a fan of that kind of storytelling, especially about a living person. Thanks for the chapter!

Macronomicon

@austin Kutz the dick is definitely big enough, lol.

Andrew

Thank you!

Quex

Thanks for the chapter!

austin kutz

Logically speaking, he should have at least cut off a piece to have on hand in case he decided he needed to use it regardless. And he should have a psychological need to have sacrifices on hand just in case after the hand cutting off business. Better to have a sacrifice on hand than have to lose another body part. He can't give up a foot or another hand so the next one would be an eye, ear, nose, or dick, if any of those are even big enough to be used as sacrifices

Ryan Naquin

Can he only upgrade one of his abilities at level 5? I assumed he would be able to upgrade both.

Macronomicon

because the upgrades are limited and he kind of has his heart set on the one that promises outlandish amount of power. Also G-goat sacrifices aren't particularly rare, difficult, or dangerous to acquire, so it could be bought at a later date should he want one... At least that's my justification here and now, lol.

chris

The assassination of William Oh by The Coward, Ben Nobleson

WickedlyDesigned

Why didn't he hunt the goat, that was an aspect level upgrade he could have snagged rather easily?

Crazy day today, lots of stuff distracted me, but I ALSO had the whole day to myself, and was able to finish a chapter despite it.
