BlaueFeder

finding a baker girl like that. Truly the luckiest soab

Fleisch

I am confused, I thought he faked his death. Why would he sign his name on the letter.

M

Hey Macro, long time fan since WotR and this might be my first and last comment. Just wanted to let you know - you’re my no1 author ever. (That’s over Rinoz, Woldbow, ErraticErrata eany other fan favorites) I look forward to your stories every week - even when you write my least favorite genre (tower climber) you make it excellent. Keep up the good work, I hope more people find it

Deinos

You mean, hiring again, after the first 3 died due to several unfortunate circumstances; at that point in time.

Jeff Wells

They're dangerous, they're just also the safest way to ascend. On average. Bear in mind Will and Loth would have had to clear a similar node by themselves without the bus.

Cyrus McEnnis

The thing that caught my eye is "spread the users weight". Can't help but wonder how that would synergise with something like Gravity Charge >.>

Jake

In a previous chapter it also mentions that it's a potential power move. A low level Baker (or anything) at a high level floor is reliant on those around them to survive

austin kutz

The only requirement is that his skill is high enough and he perceives something as something he wants to walk on, right? Smoke should be pretty hard for him, maybe he should start by trying to walk on water

Macronomicon

i think only 2 died, the others that got seperated only MAYBE died.

River

It seems weird to me that word hasn't spread that buses are dangerous if over 50% of the people die

Josiah Elliott

Strolling around on nothing but the concept of William Oh

Exrotes

At this point I want to finally see a flash forward to like Floor 9 where Will is subsisting entirely off horrifically toxic moss thanks to his Goat powers and Loth is stuck eating bugs who eat bugs who eat bugs that ate the cave moss because 4 degrees of separation is what it takes for non-lethal grubs and both of them are still talking about one day hiring someone with a cooking class.

Macronomicon

I like the idea of walking on smoke.

Macronomicon

I don't think there's anything preventing them from getting levels, other than that they are weaker than a combat class, so it would be riskier solo. With the right team to debuff, cc, and buff, they could level noncombat classes effectively, then assign them permanent roles in the towns. Heck there could be teams specifically formed to powerlevel noncombat classes. They would need a catchy name... Oh, and the level cap per floor RN is 5, so 5 on the first floor, 10 on the second, and so on. I suppose we could roll the powerlevelers in with the bussers, BC you gotta wait for the busee to Acclimate anyway, might as well spend that time getting them their levels for the floor. It's probably an expense thing. Costs a bunch to send frieght through the mail. Also costs a bunch to send a person who can make wheat and a person who can turn it into huge amounts of bread, but once you have both of them, no more transportation costs.

Mundane

Towns must not be very safe to constantly require an influx of non combat newbies. Is there a reason why a class like baker is not leveled on floor 1? Seems strange to express kids to the top when you could just transport the bread directly. I am assuming the rules around exp gain for non combat classes causes scaling with the floor level?

austin kutz

I bet it could after that skill levels up a few times. Hell, he'll probably be able to walk on beams of sunlight or step on the fabric of space eventually, without special boots

Exrotes

See now I wanna know if wearing the boots will stack with Will's magical goat powers and let him walk on thick smoke.

Andrew

Thank you!

Max E Malekzadeh

Of course he pisses off the boss monster! The legend of William Oh continues! Lol

Daemion

Will is just the luckiest guy in the entire tower, eh?
