Go with your epic cover idea. Anybody reading til book 4 will want to see a Solaris / Replica showdown. The cozy cover doesn't represent the book as well (as you said). There's a lot of other epic moments in book 4, but Solaris vs. Replica is both well foreshadowed/hyped and unique to book 4. It's a good choice.

One of the more memorable scenes was Chemestro figuring out how to make himself permeable to The Tide at the exact moment before it was needed to prevent Mimic-Solaris from killing him. Not sure if it's cover worthy, but I'd still like to bring it up as it's the first scene from Book 4 that comes to mind, which can be good information to help answer this sort of question.

I was thinking that one meme of a high level player shielding a new player. Instead of arrows, it's apocalyptic forces clashing in the background, and Perry trying to wrangle his kids in the foreground.
