Your my favourite author macro!

Dapartypossum

Well he did break Will’s tomahawk..

Karl

"It was so vivid, Will might’ve mistaken it for a memory" Hmmmmm

Tate Browder

Should definitely have to give those back it is an arena fight after all

Macronomicon

we actually havent. Didn't have the mental space to make a buncha sweetass Relics. Although goign forward, very possibly gonna want to define those.

Ral

What are the artifacts Will stole from Mark, and void mask? Did we get a loot check yet?

Baines

i like the idea of steve doing nothing since he likes where he’s at now

Baines

total hype

Patrick

Travis got remembered! For a taunt build, he sure does get forgotten a lot 😂

Nate Oppy

Depends if the contract is dependant on the tomahawk or not as well

David Weller

I only just now thought of this... since his tomahawk was destroyed, is Steve bound by the tomahawk's contract anymore? And I'm assuming he witnessed the match between Nephir and Will. So he would know the object that forced him to comply with Will would be destroyed, too. Now I see the author doing this two ways. 1. He doesn't say anything until Steve finally comes out and betrays Will. This is the serious, haha-I-got-you-readers idea that most authors would go for... or 2. He makes it funny. Steve has come around to liking Will. He goes to him and they start renegotiating a contract. Steve does some silly stuff like try and get his own interests snuck into the contract, but Will (or Loth) catches all of them. But regardless Steve was gonna agree anyway, because he knows Will's potential and wants to ride the Will train. Plus, he respects Will for his ability to see through BS.

Andrew

Thank you!

Mani

the relic crafting system giving me poe vibes, but that's nothing new for this story all about combining skills and items to make broken builds... i'm REALLY excited for poe2 in 2 weeks lol

Brian Small

“He can’t see the future, but he’s been known to tell it what to do.” Bloody brilliant

Opportunity Drive

It seemed related to the coffin, like the guy in there was acting as Akul's picture of Dorian Grey

Duhall

Makes sense. Do we know what happens to the primary ability upgrades once both abilities max out their upgrade slots?

Tate Browder

“Tournament mean select potential lords” I think you meant to select

Patrick Chang

It got a genuine laugh out of me

Patrick Chang

I hope Akul survives, he's a really fun character! Although, one could argue that his death would make Will's life harder and he is most creative and entertaining when his back is against the wall....

Skyra

From what i understand it is one primary ability upgrade every 5 levels and one secondary ability upgrade or new ability every 10 levels.

Exrotes

Travis taunting a Kaiju and running away like it's Godzilla 98.

Bookworm bibliophile

How did akul stopped aging?

Nate Oppy

Death came to William Oh… He was wearing his best suit and tie and in a meek voice asked. “Master, how do I look?”. Wills response, “Good enough for a date with the Wyrds”

Nate Oppy

That has got to be my favourite Salazar intro to date

KipBR

What a great chapter. There is only one thing about this chapter I dislike, but I do think it's something pretty terrible that the author really should change immediately. I got to the end of the chapter, and there weren't any more after it! ;(

Duhall

How do the abilities and upgrades work again? I thought it was 1 new ability every 10 levels and 1 upgrade every 5, but doesn’t Steve have 2 primaries, 2 secondaries, and 1 tertiary (for 5 abilities instead of 4) at level 35? Is he a special case? Or is Will missing his second secondary ability from level 20?

Daemion

I love it when a protagonist uses their brain instead of relying on their strength. Of course, he could just as easily talk to Lord Akul about everything. The guy is already concerned about Wyrd because he lost his immortality cheat, telling him about a potential invasion and mass murder plot is something he'd 100% take seriously. The downside is that Will would have to reveal a bunch of secrets, which might backfire on him. Telling Akul he figured out the hidden kaijus could mean Will gets forcibly employed and unable to leave. The Baker girls' secret isn't really his to share but people still need to be warned about them. They don't have the willpower to resist the commands of a Tangled handler after all. Is it just me or was Akul relatively nice, polite and helpful when talking with Will? It would be a shame if the guy died, he seems to be quite important for the function of the entire floor and beyond.

Josh Cothran

William Oh doesn’t need to be able to read or write. He can read the situation and write his own destiny

Apiris

I loved this one

Kronos

Tftc! “and now he saw him carving his way through the ranks of a tournament meant select potential Lords.” -> meant to select

Domy

I love a MC who is not an idiot. Will can understand a plot unfolding based on past experience, his own devious mind, and the known behaviour of assholes in power.

RedInkQuill

Aghhh. Too much cliff

Jimmy Oneil

Hooyah thanks

Gaunt

A masterclass in tactics would look like a crayon drawing on a mud wall, with the way you've described wills penmanship in the past. I hope we get an arts and crafts flash back scene

axel jensen

Oh i finaly understand why Whyrd is attacking now, he needs to kill akul before he grows even more. Since both have now stopped aging they can't out wait each other and so murder it is

Jacob

I can picture William Oh having this super elaborate plan with the conclusions he came, and when its written down its just a garbled mess.
