Ethan Barrow

TFTC!! One of the most legendary of lines to say "hold my beer".

Gessy

First time here and loving it already! I can't wait to find the begining to this Wonderful world 🤩 I just read a bit of the chapter and I'm hooked (gotta find the start tho) 😶‍🌫️

Moon Winchester

Sorry is the ancient motherfucker who knows everything because he’s lived through the circle Jason

Akhil Girish

After human form in flotilla, i would have probably said "Even the dragons eternal flame ran out trying to burn the alcohol before Will got tipsy"

Evgeny Münch

Bigest Cliffhanger so far. I cant w8

Nate O

All attempts definitely welcome!!!!!

Sappy

I wish i was talented enough to finish it for you but I'm not nearly good enough to have come up with the concept. I love it!

Nate O

William Oh was challenged to a drinking competition by a dragon in human form on the Flotilla… After their 900th shot the Dragon breathed flames in a last ditch attempt to frighten Will off. Will beginning to be a tiny bit tipsy thought it was quite funny and did the same with some slight trickery using the 901st shot… The dragon fainted (please someone else complete the punch line?)

Nate O

William Oh’s once held his own beer while fighting off the captains of the Flotilla… Not a drop was spilled.

Leobardis

Assuming Shimmer is wind-powered and not being driven by Loth's Insects somehow, you'd want the incredibly smelly portion of the ship to be at the front. While ships 'can' run faster than the wind, Sail Powered vessels would want the wind driving all the smell away of the front of the ship, and living quarters in the Stern.

Kaitos

Finaly cought up to live :D Can't wait for more! Awsome Writing

Jeff Wells

I don't think it's an entire world, it really couldn't be for one Lord to hold down the whole thing like they do. I think it's more like a small country, anywhere from dozens to hundreds of miles across. And different floors are definitely different sizes. We also don't really know what the floors actually are. They could be a kind of procedurally generated structure, where The Tower doesn't bother bringing a portion of the floor into existence if there aren't any Climbers nearby. If the floors are actually infinite, this would save an infinite amount of energy. In that case, the floors would be infinite, yet contain few of any truly unique secrets. Technically there would be an infinite variety of loot, for example, but in practice everything is going to follow a formula that gives you the best possible gear the floor can produce in a very finite search space.

SunderGoldmane

Thank you for another vocabulary lesson. Also, well written narrative. Going full circle like this by reading the hype preamble felt great.

Bookworm bibliophile

Just wondering if every floor is it is mini world, wouldn't have it own secrets that mc or his party may or may not get to see, discover or explore?

StrollingEye

Yeah, that was a good chapter. Pleased to see the emaciated one appear briefly, no idea what's going to unfold but I interests me intensely. I have to agree with another poster, the reference to the battle by way of the William Oh clauses is just perfect. We know how much he owned them by the depth of the contingencies claimed. No idea about the use of feet to steal knives, can feet do that? What about tentacles? Or are nautical feet on a boat something different t, like the Travis's uncle, the brawler with his ugly toenails and calloused toes.

Michael

Sarcophaguy is absolutely fantastic

Quazzy

TFTC, I love the setup!

Emily Gurnavage

I really want it to somehow become an actual ghost ship after they leave this floor. For some reason that makes sense to Will's party but nobody/few else, its just sailing around and magically staying repaired and afloat awaiting the return of its Captain. Many try to claim it as their own, but are never heard from again or barely escape alive. Maybe Will and them use it again if they come back down again for some reason. Perhaps something with bugs, but idk about them doin anything long-term like ship repair without Loth around anymore.

ParadoxFox

This was a fun chapter, sometimes a small chapter note can say more than any amount of exposition.

Crispined Glover Potato Snacks

Assuming that the crying, skeletal man is the Sarcophaguy from Baron Akul's basement, I wonder if he is gonna go from Mumm-Ra to Mumm-Ra, The Ever Living!

Eli Loeb

Excellent chapter note

The Human

I think that might be the immortal guy from the coffin recognizing Will. From his previous incarnation in whatever cycle the guy was in before he got captured

Andrew

Thank you!

Baines

great chapter, love how the rules cover the ending

Melody Haren Anderson

Based on the "here again" thinking he might be knowingly part of whatever seeming time loop/spiral thing is going on. Maybe he knows Will, maybe he knew someone very much like him.

Gaunt

Thats a damn good chapter.

Emily Gurnavage

Shoulda expected it from the title but I still laughed out loud at the final sentence.

In-Game_Name

That skeletal guy is totally the immortal from Akul. He definitely recognizes will too, because he's met his previous incarnations

Ruan Labuschagne

Ah i wish i never got the patreon so that i could get it now and have a ton of chapters to read at once. Loving the story! What's the story of the dude crying when he saw him though, that was odd.

Exrotes

Hopefully Steve is around somewhere to give the party some much needed guidance before they all die horribly in back alley knife fights.

Nechochwen

I have grown to enjoy how Mac uses after action reports, instead of writing everything out explicitly.

Ral

Shimmer is going to become a permanent force on the sixth floor fairying souls to their destiny... The Fort, on the Ninth Floor.

David W. Baijense

Nice 👍

Dlandis

Gah... That line has been off repeated at many a family gathering here in Appalachia. Hold my beer, indeed!
