There's obvious advantage to rubberized soft compartments: impact dampening, especially when sitting down, can reduce the strain of impact on a hard surface which could damage intricate components or cause chip creep!

Amy bot is not seeing the big picture with those bouncy coolant reservoirs. Yeah she's not as fast, but she wasn't catching up to sonic anyway. Now she can keep jogging long after sonic gets board and takes a nap. Also boobs look great.
