I took most of a week off from writing because I was having some hand pain/inflammation. It was partially from writing/other computer use but another part was because I hold my phone weird when reading and I read a lot. Swapped to tablet so I'm not actually holding anything. Anyway, feeling much better so I'll be getting chapters out and caught up as soon as possible. Hand stuff just gets worse and worse until I take some time to just not use them, which is really annoying but I also don't want carpal tunnel.

I can only read on a monitor (or hands-free tablet) for any real length of time. Reading while holding a physical object has never been comfortable for me. When I was younger, I just sucked it up and dealt with being sore for 30 minutes after a reading session. As I got older, 30 minutes became an hour, two hours, and the soreness got worse and worse. I'm too old for that now. Now, if I need to read more than a half-hour, I'm finding a hands-free option.
