i've got a question for you guys: do watermarks bother you when theyre near the middle of a pic? for example, how sakimichan places hers. i usually just stick mine in the corner. i dont even sign my stuff :| but i'm coming across more and more twitter accounts/blogs that just re-post collections of other people's work, so i think i am going to end up having to make the watermarks a bit more prominent.

It might be a good idea to give some examples of different watermarks you're thinking about using and having us vote on which one we like the best or is the least intrusive but still visible for the majority?

Having it in the corner is sort of pointless because people can always just cover it or crop it out (typically I notice cropping is more of a thing). I wouldn't say right in the middle, but I would put he watermark somewhere along the main composition. So that if someone were to crop it out they would have to remove a huge chunk of the picture. MAINLY because the actual ENG VA of Dick Gumshoe took one of Mazjojo's Patreon rewards for the character, cropped out this signature that was on that corner, reposted on his Twitter and bragged how he would sell it at conventions.
