Top of the Breederboard - Style test
🕑 Added 2020-08-25 00:12:08 +0000 UTCThe next comic takes place in a more futuristic setting so I wanted to take time aside to design the suits they'll be wearing and show how they work. I also wanted to perform some studies to figure out how I wanted to stylize the latex parts and figure out which brushes/layer modes I'd like to use for what.
I'm also gonna try out a different line art and shading style with this comic since I felt there was some room for improvement in the last comic.
Lore I have for the suits so far: They're color coated by department like Star Trek, (red for military, blue for science, etc.). On the shoulders will show a α or β to indicate if the person is a "seeder" or "breeder" respectively. Mating partners will be given matching numbers in roman numerals below. The suits have a built-in AI with a wrist readout that uses sensors to read biometric data and adjust for comfort. Upon request, the suit will dematerialize only leaving behind a wristband from which the suit's AI can still interact and rematerialize.
