Updates from the transformation station
🕑 Added 2016-04-25 12:59:01 +0000 UTC It may come as no surprise that April is taking ages getting ready to go out. She always did seem somewhat high maintenance to me. Been rendering her pretty much non-stop over the weekend, and she's about 93% of the way complete. I reckon she'll be good to go by tomorrow. Maybe am, maybe pm, we'll see.Ivy and Harley are still clawing up the place, getting a little restless. They're just bursting to get out.
I put April on hold for a few hours so I could get the next shot of Farrah looking ship-shape. Now much happier with the shot compared to how it was before. Probably good to go after a few hours of test rendering, then all the OCD tweaks can happen.
All the models pass on their regards, though it is getting harder to understand them with all those protruding fangs!
As you can see, not an awful lot more to show since the last post, but I like to keep you guys in the loop, even if the loop is fruitless :p
I must admit, making the transition from a part time hobby to a full(ish) time occupation has been a strange and interesting one.
T'was unfortunate circumstances that greeted me at the start of the year, and now I have found myself in a bizarre twilight. The thing that I perhaps do best, is something that I share with you guys, while my friends and relatives have no idea about this madness I devote the majority of my time too. I'm energized by the idea of earning a living doing what I love and because of that, life is seeming to be going okay at the moment.
As I work on my secret creations, out in a trailer in the wilds, I can't help but be reminded of a particular TV show, and how it could all go a bit wrong. Still, haven't had to dissolve any bodies in a bathtub. So far...
Todays to do list;
Fix car
Write more. Specifically, work out how much of what is already written should accompany the next image. Decide it's all nonsense. Start over. Probably
Wait patiently for Ms O'Neil.
Quick FYI, I'll be away from the office, lab, studio, transformation station or whatever it is I call my workspace from Thursday night, possibly 'til Monday, doing the "other" job. If I time it right, I'll have something rendering while I'm away.

Hey S, how long is the Ivy/Harley set? I can't remember if you mentioned. PUMPED for more April fun. She's worth waiting for if your earlier pics are any indication. And hey, congrats on reaching a point where you can help yourself through your art. You put out something a lot of us enjoy- you should benefit from that. Just...you know, if you start getting a hacking cough, feel the need to wear a black hat and the desire to add 'The Danger' in the job position on your business card? You may want to take a break and get away from those computer fumes for a while... ;)

Hope so, it's hard to let carpet get ruined like that. And besides, this TF has somehow become an inspiration for my story again. I anxiously await for the next one... if only to get the brain juices goin' again.

Yeah, but I don't mind it as it gives me time to write up a chapter, caption (chaption?) as the image is slowly revealing itself. Thankfully, my PC can just about handle working on one scene while rendering another. Sometimes though, I won't risk it, as things like fur seem to make everything a little more volatile and I could end up losing hours of rendering.
