🕑 Added 2023-02-11 22:23:09 +0000 UTCI debated on doing a nice time skip, but some of the plot points required to be wrapped up directly. This is the immediate aftermath with a few side pieces. The next part will take place a few years later.

Yeah, very much alive. He's the reason Jon and Shireen returned only 14 days after the battle, not as soon as Jon wake up. He was healing at the Wall.

Probably not, but I can imagine a situation where Dorne quietly festers in hatred until the situation comes to a head with a future generation of leaders many years down the line when the fear of Jon has settled down. They were always good at holding onto grudges. Brandon Tallheart should also watch his back carefully. He's implicitly protected by Jon's power, but all it takes is one errant Dornishman with more anger than common sense to make an attempt on his life.

After seeing what Jon was capable of at Westwatch, Shireen does not consider the Dornish anything but an annoyance. It helps that Dorne is on the other side of the continent, and nobody really trusts them. Keep in mind here that the whole situation is entirely of Arianne's making, so our Martell Heiress can only have herself to blame. She came to Winterfell, she stayed here, and she offered to the other party to set terms. At least Brandon Tallheart is a fetching young man if nothing else. Also, the Dornish lost almost everyone who went to fight with Aegon, and now Arianne is going to have problems back home anyway. And, problems for House Stark? Would Arianne dare to piss off Jon after what she had seen so far?

Damn, Shireen really went for the jugular. But I can't help but wonder if humiliating the Dornish won't come to bite them back in the ass sometime in the future.
