There are still about 10,000 or more ironborn between Jon and Winterfell. However the Ironborn have claimed the Wolfwoods so maybe they will fight Hightower for cutting into 'their' woods.

This chapter was insane. The whole continent is so fucked lmao... Everyone appears to just be saying 'fuck it, scorched earth' and I feel like everyone but the Stark's and their friends will probably be dead by the end. Good chapter as always

Loved it as always. So does the afterward mean that Robb managed to catch Garlan and his men yet or no? Poor Willas…great a guy as he was he got fucked over by his grandmother. She got too used to power and he was just conditioned to let her have it. Love Robb telling Aegon to get bent. I really hope some part of the next chapter is Jon coming to save Winterfell’s bacon. We’ve been without him for too long. Ned’s struggles continue. He’s supposed to be the King regent now he has to deal with Myr as well. The reward for a job well done is more responsibility as always 😩.

Yes to the Myrcella bit but No when Robbs part comes along. Maybe if you swapped the two? That could add more tension through the illusion that they will treat winterfell worse for the sack. Even though they couldn't know about it yet.

Myrcella went full Lannister in this one, I think it resurrected Cersei LMAO Omg her son was already being floated as the next king and now Joff’s wife is dead! The baby is at least heir to the king now? I have to say I was so happy that she broke the parley even though it obviously had terrible consequences. All the rules HAVE BEEN out the window anyway. The way the rain was actually a boon in the end was just perfect. Robb kills all the men bearing the Tyrell name! An ignoble end and all thanks to Olenna.. that’s gotta suck for the few roses that remain. They’re disgraced and at the mercy of people who hate them. I wonder where Robb will turn his ire next? And I loved his letter claiming Aegon is a liar! Robb’s letters need to have a massive section in the history books. Omg Ned what are you still doing in Myr loca?? This man is just adding more and more responsibility to his plate. I get he CANT really say no when they’re offering something he desperately needs in return. But this is like becoming the Regent all over again. I’m cringing at him coming home and seeing the disaster levels just off the charts. Also I really love the description of the princess tower! It sounds pretty and I hope the extra height on the watchtower helps them out. And BENJEN! The older and more powerful Lord Commander of the Watch survives his assassination attempt, poor Jon. I actually gasped, idk how I was blind to this, it’s so clear looking back. So much blood spilled in this chapter it’s insane.

Great chapter. I’m so eager to see every Reach man die a fiery death that every chapter I have to wait is virtually torture! I like that we’ve reached a point in the story where Myrcella breaking parley, usually regarded as a vile act marking a family for generations, warrants little more that a “meh” from everyone. Finally, I’m not sure if you’ve said this before, but do you have an estimate on how much of the story remains? I ask because I could see this being finished in like 6 chapters, or feasibly stretched out for another 26.
