I rolled with a more pale shade of blonde than described in the books since this is an AU already, and I like it better this way(sue me!). And yeah, I guess I can safely admit that the pairing is going to be Jon/Val now. I spent a lot of time generating a nice image of Val, and I got plenty, in the end, I couldn't choose which one to post, so I am posting those two, which I think are the best ones yet.
Sadly, the clothing isn't too accurate, and one even ended up with earrings, but I'm pretty happy with how the faces turned out.
Tomorrow will be the next CoF chapter.

When I get both free time and inspiration, so probably within the next two weeks. Jon has no royal heritage to speak of whatsoever. There's no proof of any marriage, of anything, and neither Ned Stark nor Howland Reed knows what exactly happened with Lyana other than the fact she gave birth and passed away as sure as she extracted a promise from Ned. On the topic of Rhaegar's possible marriage with Lyanna, I'll say this - if it ever happened, it's easily disputable. Neither annulment nor taking a second wife in a medieval world is something easily done unless you're the king. Even so, you usually had to get rid of your previous wife first. I can write a ton lot on the Rhaegar/Lyanna Dynamic, but for all intents and purposes, in this story, if any marriage ever happens, nobody alive knows. Jon's a bonafide bastard of two old and powerful lines. His birthright is what he makes for himself, nothing less, nothing more.

Not going to spoil anything. But Jon is an actual bastard, to the best knowledge of everyone. Anyone who could shed some light on that died before they spoke of it at all.

Yus!!! I love me some Val/Jon. But, so.. Does this mean that he's going full Hero with a dog rather than a Crowning.. I'll be honest, that'd be badass.. Besides the hero and dog dying in the end of course.
