Another thing I'm going to see the day after tomorrow is the direction finding Longclaw goes. If he finds it, on the pro side he will be even better with a known weapon, especially magic steel, but on the negative side he will have to come with a plausible reason to have it and even if he thinks of a good reason he will still be at least a target for envy if not assassination.

Yeah, pretty sure it's her as well. It's logical to be honest, as we see from Jon's own thought process he dislikes both the Green and the Black factions and he doesn't want to be involved in the shitshow, however ... trow in a girl / woman ... things might change, he is still a man and Targ women are very very nice ;P

Jon just can’t help himself when he comes across a hopeless situation can he? At least two people will have a better shot thanks to this magical madness! Jon deciding to just retire since none of this is any of his business is so real. I wonder how he ends up being dragged into the mayhem since he clearly dislikes both Rhaenyra and Aegon.

Thank you for the new story. I'm in the dark here, never watched HoTD. I was so disappointed and disgusted with season 8 that I just stopped reading most GoT stuff. But Jon's attitude here speaks to me lol. He, rightly in my opinion, has stopped giving a shit. As far as I know, just about every ruler and or king got what they had coming to them and deserved worse.

99% sure the brat with the flute is Baela Targaryen, only Jon.... I see many moments in the future for Jon that can best be described as "I'm too old for this shit." Especially with Nettles in his house and his unwilling/unknowing introduction to his Targ ancestors/relatives in the person of a little princess who is too much like her father. Who will definitely open her mouth about the too well-dressed/behaving Northman on the shores of Dragonstone. Jon already has a bad opinion of all the Targ factions...the madness he's being dragged into isn't going to make it any better. Especially if one type of dragon or another type of dragon shows interest in him. Cannibal or a less insane dragon variant, not to mention the silver-haired brats (even the adults). Fun times, fun times indeed.😁
