This is book! Jon, though. He's a flawed hero not some stubborn idealistic man who would always make the 'right' choice to his own detriment like he was in the show, and is currently spiraling down doomerism after witnessing the world end. Don't worry, it won't be for too long. I also thought it prudent to have some character development for Jon, instead of having him enter the scene as a finalised persona.

Good chapter but it felt a little small, maybe cause the pace is slow I don’t know! I hope Jon stop being so miserable… let’s say yea the world gonna be destroyed what ever he do can not change that , but that is no reason to live in so much misery … I don’t expect him to wanna be lord or fall in love in a second but the way he thinks nothing matters anymore ….don’t sit very well with me !

You avoided the Valyrian steel sword reveal, warging is such a huge advantage that is underutilised in the books/show. An omake must be written going something like this : - Are you going to pay for that goat? Daemon is struck speechless for a few seconds, he was not expecting this. - I know you saved my daughters and while I admit that is a great debt, you better watch your tongue or I will take Dark Sister and cut it. - You are welcomed to try, but it might not end all that well for you, said Jon really irritated. - Do you imagine a tourney sword can last more than a few hits against Valyrian steel ? - Who said anything about using that. I do have a Valyrian steel blade as well. For the second time in minutes Daemon was speechless, but his ego quickly found a reply : - Unless you are blind I do have a dragon.
