Chapter 25 of BD is out for Squires + Shadow's Portrait
🕑 Added 2026-01-06 10:54:15 +0000 UTCI found a decent artist and commissioned a piece instead of using Midjourney, and here's the result.
As for the chapter... it was hard to write, an actual tangle. I changed my plan for it five times in the process of writing, and quite some rewriting was done. I'm not happy enough with how it came, but I've delayed enough. The second half isn't quite as well edited as I'd like, but it'll do for now.

My bet is that it is the party responsible for other murders and wildfire explosion. They are probably trying to eliminate anyone who could mess with their plans and royal Targaryens are a central part of their plot, whatever it is. Since he looks Targaryen, has some relation to Bloodraven and is trying to reach the king, he needs to disappear.
