Just because Elois Bridgerton is more of a modern female does not make her correct? She is a perfect epitome of the toxic people who have twisted what feminism is. It was meant to bring equality for woman, and provide them with choice, but Elois seems to be advocating not for choice, but for oppression on the opposite end of the spectrum, instead of only having any worth as a wife and mother, woman who want to be married and have a family are clearly just pretending in El's opinion. As for the Featheringtons and Marina, I do not like that they had to keep her in her room away from society, but it is not just about Marina, in that time her being unwed and pregnant would also have a very damaging effect on the other 3 girls who are out in society completely destroying their marriage prospects. And I love Penelope Featherington, she has and will always be my favorite character!

what the helly is the mom projecting on to daphne besides worry for her lmfao. i just cant reallly understand the both sides view in that scene. He was getting in the way of daphne and was letting this old ass man try to be with her
