(Throwing this out there before I comment that I don't know if my fact stated is correct or not so please don't hold it in high regard) When this movie came out I had once heard that Rats don't have a gag reflex so for Remy to gag on the smell of Linguines soup means it was SOOOOO BAD that it defied the literal laws of nature! Awwww LJ getting emotional triggered my own emotional response (I've discovered through you guys that I am 100% a "social crier" because you guys seems to trigger the tear ducts more than if I'm watching something myself lol) so that was so sweet because it tells me LJ that something in the movie spoke to your soul and your soul responded in turn ❤️ The scene with the dad showing the dead rats reminds me of the one scene from "The Fox and the Hound" (SPOILERS AHEAD) where they show Tod the fox kit what a hunter is and the possibility of what copper the Hound dog will turn into as the hunters dog.... "You listen good Tod, because it's either education or elimination! Now, if you're so foxy and old Chief is so dumb Then why does that hound get the fox on the run? 'Cause he's got the hunter And the hunter's got the gun Ka-blam, elimination! Lack of education!" Apparently it was removed tho from Disney+ according to google leading to a "Mandela Effect" (jokes on Disney I still own it on DVD!!!) Also I now have a mighty powerful urge to watch the Hunchback of Notre Dame and UP and would love if we could make that happen Greg! The eyes and souls are hungry and we demand a sacrifice that needs to be fed!! 😜🤣🤣❤️ P.S the Hunchback of Notre Dame might actually hit home these days in more ways than one.. *cough* hunting Gypsys 👀

Probably favorite animated film of all time. There's a few that I score up there along side this but in my opinion it's the GOAT of animated films. I've watched this with my kids and then my grandkids and I still rewatch it from time to time and if any of the folks I watch along with on patreon does this movie I will always stop what I'm doing and watch along.
