Yeah you can achieve good sculpts in both. I hope you keep up with it all the same, and maybe you can publish some cool STL files down the line.

I'm sticking with blender, i dont really want to pay for a program im not 100% sure i'll use and from what im hearing blender is the best to use from the others.

I love it when 2D character artists get into 3D it always looks so cool. If you’re still not sold on Blender may I recommend checking out Z-Brush. It personally felt more intuitive to me and isn’t cluttered with all the animation stuff. It costs money but there are student versions that are reasonable one time costs.
