My Little Merman Announcement

First of all, thank you for supporting and following my original series.
I am writing this announcement today to ask you for your understanding.
On July 18th, there was arson attack at Japan anime studio, Kyoto Animation.
Everyone is feeling deeply shocked by the irreparable damage and loss. I want to send my prayer to the studio and everyone who are feeling a huge loss.
I decided to make an important notice about MLM.
I found similarities between the studio fire incident and the current progress of My Little Merman. I was concerned that it will be difficult for readers to read an similar situation in the MLM series and I am also afraid that it is also emotional difficulty for myself to draw the episodes, so I made the following decision.
Episodes of My Little Merman : Starting from 35, all episodes of 36, 37, 38 will be reverted and reproduced including the future episodes. The MLM series will be paused while the new plot is being created.
I sincerely apologize to all of my supporters and readers about the such a delay and change. I sincerely apologize to all of you for have you wait for my original series.
I would like to thank all of you for supporting and loving the all the creators and authors.
We will wait for Kyoto Animation as long as it takes and support forever.

今日はご了解をねがうためにこの文を書くことになりました。
7月18日、Kyoto Animation スタジオ火災事件がありました。
私も Gearlingの方も悲しみと大きい喪失感で心が重いと思います。
私は最近の火災事件とMy Little Mermanの現在の進行部分で重なる部分を発見し,マンガの内容の中で事件と重なるものは,読む皆様にもまたマンガを書く私にも製作し難い感情状態にあると判断し,次のような決断になりました。
My Little Mermanの内容35話から36、37、38話を含め、今後の内容が全部再製作される予定です。 新しいプロットを作る間,MLMは休載される予定です。
ご心配をおかけした皆様に対し,誠に申し訳ございません。
取り返しのつかない多くの被害と貴重な人材を失ったこの事件に皆さんも大変衝撃と心配が深いと思います。
私の作品以外にもいつもスタジオと作家,創作のすべてを全力を尽くして応援してくださって愛してくださる皆さんに心より頭を下げて感謝いたします。

7월 18일 Kyoto Animation 에 스튜디오 화재 사건이 일어났습니다.
저와 Gearling 분들도 역시 안타까움과 커다란 상실감으로 마음이 무거우리라 생각합니다.
저는 최근의 화재사건과 My Little Merman의 현재 진행 부분에서 겹치는 부분을 발견하고, 만화 내용안에서 사건과 겹치는 것은 읽는 여러분께도 또 저로서도 제작하기 어려운 감정상태에 있다고 판단하여 다음과 같은 결정을 내리게 되었습니다.
My Little Merman의 내용 35화 부터 36, 37, 38화를 포함해 앞으로의 내용이 전부 재 제작될 예정입니다. 새 플롯을 짜는 동안 MLM은 휴재될 예정입니다.
심려를 끼쳐드리게 된 여러분들께 진심으로 죄송하다는 말씀드립니다.
돌이킬 수 없는 많은 피해와 귀중한 인재를 잃은 이 사건에 여러분들도 많이 충격과 심려가 깊으실거라 생각합니다.
저의 작품 외에도 항상 스튜디오와 작가, 창작의 모든 것들을 전력으로 응원해주시고 사랑해주시는 여러분들께 진심으로 고개숙여 감사 인사 드립니다.

I'm so sad, thinking of all this. As much as I love-love-love My Little Merman, I would get no enjoyment out of the story knowing how it's now making you suffer. Your art and your story should be filled with beauty, and you should take the time you need to rethink the direction you want to go in. I’m not sure what to say. I’m still shocked at what happened and I totally understand your position. Please know that I will always support you in whatever you decide to do. And will support you in this Decision too. Please take all the time you need and know that I , as I’m sure all the rest of us, will be here whenever you feel up to drawing MLM again. I love this story. I love your works and will wait until you are comfortable with posting it again.
