I hope you are having a wonderful day, because today is the release of the first demo for Yaradiel’s Crown!
I haven’t been this excited, exhausted (and scared) at the same time in a while!
So, let’s get to it
This first version includes a lot of systems, as I said before, while there isn’t too much content yet, I plan to add content and features every month.
The first months are the hardest for a project, so I will be very happy to count with your support.
As a part of that, during the first three months (so, until end of november) the demos will include a +100% credits and drop chance bonus, so early adopters of the game can get something cool!
Something that is different now than it will be in the future is the clothing unlocks. Since there isn’t much content to go around right now, there is no point in having 90% of the clothing locked behind impossible unlocks (since the bosses are not done yet), so for now, and until all boss in tier 1 and 2 are done, all clothing pieces will be available on the shop.
For those who are on the $10+ tier, I have added a system to give something else extra to you. As a way to say thanks, since we are on hard times right now. This is the “Care package” system, which is a exclusive code, for each month, that when you input it you will be able to loot extra items on your room. These items are mostly consumables, and two weapons from the next update (so basically early access!). These weapons are of the same level as the current max level content. So this is not just a “pay to win”, there is no extra power, just some extra variety as a way to say thanks.
For those who are on the $20+ tier, you also have the Cheats! so feel free to try them, and I’m open to suggestions of possible future cheats!

All in all, making this first demo took a lot of work. It’s a massive project for one person to do (movement, combat, buffs, shops, dialogues, maps, animations, abilities, weapons, VFX, etc) so even if it is a 0.1, I’m very proud of this first demo.
I wanna take time here to thank all of you who helped me test, those who tried the most on the test channel, and those who helped privately. Overall, since the first alpha (I did 9 alphas!) The changelog is 4 whole pages long! We found a lot of stuff!
Since this is the first public version I expect bugs and issues to happen, but hopefully nothing really gamebreaking.
Keep in mind that you may see some features that may not be working, such as the hard mode on bosses. These features will come in the future (and it was simpler to just make the whole UI now instead of making it partially).
So, just, enjoy!
There will be no public demo this month.
First public demo will be next month, and will include only Area 1 (Central ruins outskirts), but that demo will be released after releasing the new version with more maps!

Custom enemies will be coming, but much much later! And yeah, as the game gets more content, optional stuff will become available and be a bit more grindy

oh damn. Sorry for the issues, please send me your player.logs file to see if I can find the issue, as I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. But yeah, this is a 0.1 version, and bugs will keep popping up, but as the game progresses there will be more content and less bugs!

That arena looking structure has me thinking about custom fights and custom enemies. Love running around and looting. Hope bosses will drop rare stuff so I have the use the reemergence scrolls and grind it out. Id love if this game was a little grindy.

For this being a first demo in the indie adult game market, this has a ton of potential to it. Hell, even now I wanna get in on developing this is has so much going for it. :o I love Soulslikes and RPGs where I can wander around, and now adult content in it- sign me up! However, this is a few of game breaking bugs and more minors that are just a mild inconvenience at best. I have found myself having to delete and create a new character twice now because of the game breakers. I see a lot of the minors already been posted on the Discord, so I guess I will point out the biggest bug I had here. When ever I try to go to Zantlaha or to the Central Outskirts, a fatal error with the loading causes the game to crash (or my PC to) and when I reload, my character is stuck perma-falling no matter how many times I attempt to load in. I think this bug has to do with how the game loads (like when it thinks it is fully load and when it is actually fully loaded is very different which could explain me falling through the map and the system tryna call on a couple of functions that are stuck in a loop or failed to actually come up with the things it needed to recall from the database of the game) the second part could possibly be explained by the auto saving feature (I personally would love manual saving features for this reason since there doesn't seem to be an emergency function to go back and recall the data before saying it is loaded and ready to play). I am really interested in how this game develops though I am already in love with it despite the bugs. I also notice some categories of items are not being recalled even when you pick them up. (For example, if I pick up an Ero Manual, it will not show up in my inventory to use unless I reload the entire program and maybe get lucky that it recalls that data.) I also has no clue there was an Elite Enemy at the end of the 1st area.... until my 2nd attempt at a character! The system didn't spawn The Axe at all my first playthrough, I just walked up to the end and got the Great Axe. XD (Which is out classes by the smaller variant the War Axe you can get earlier in the game... o.O)

there is a bug i found, the continue path/button work even if there is no character to continue with . (if we hit play , with the screen showing no character, then the game load but only show the outdoor since there is no character to move)

Two serious bugs. I can‘t enter the ruin（the music go on,but game don‘t run）. When I load game,my character is underground. I think I am in sky first time until I look up...

I'll report the first bug I found. If you create a character name and then try to input it again, it'll tell you "you have someone with that name" and then once you click go back or start over or whatever, it doesn't give any more prompts. I had to ALT F4 out.
