Another anime that popped up in my mind is Golden Time, I dont recall if it was a straight up romance or a ROM-COM, it aired back in like 2012 but I doubt it would win if it went to a poll since it was an older title compared to what tends to get watched nowadays but I would recommend it

Bunny girl senpai foremost is Sci fi. The first arc is about romance, after thst it's just an underlying side plot. Great anime but I wouldn't recommend it as romance 100% agree on horimiya

A couple of Romance/ROM-COMs id say you would like is Horimiya or My Dress Up Darling but I would also throw in Bunny Girl Sempai it has romance elements but has other interesting stuff going on in the show

If you like something a little more grownup i would recommend "a sign of affection" the main couple ist already in College. Its really good
