Just to be clear, the whole time I was watching the movie, I kept wondering how different things would be if I grew up around people like you or, even now, if the people I deal with on a regular basis were like you. It would be a very different world and I think it would be a lot better.

Honestly, I look at how much empathy you have and I keep wondering if you are going to hold onto that for the rest of your life or if the world is eventually going to get to you. I can watch a movie like this and not get worked up over it at all, and I didn't. I don't know if a movie like this would have ever hit me like it hit you or if I lost that later on in life. I honestly don't know. I was a very pessimistic person entering high school and have been that way ever since. Maybe it happened when I switched schools in 5th grade and lost all of my friends? Maybe it's because my mother was religious and my father wasn't and they fought about it constantly. Maybe it is because my brother died before I was born and my mother was absent for me growing up or my father couldn't play with me because he destroyed his body in a work accident when I was in 3rd grade. Maybe I really am on the spectrum and have other world syndrome. I don't know. It used to kill me to see how messed up the world is. I see the bad in everything. My only true goal in life is to not have kids and inflict this world on them. Whatever else happens along the way is inconsequential as long as that part remains true. I live my life almost entirely in autopilot. I have no idea when I started doing that. I know people appreciate your view a lot more than mine. I've never had a strong desire to side with popular opinion. I see why that is the popular opinion, but I disagree with the assumption that life is inherently worth something. I think it is just biology and culture and a lack of knowing what else to do with ourselves if we try to do something other than live.

Just started watching, but wanted to say not everyone is afraid of death. Not everyone is trying to live as long as they can. Most people I know can't comprehend that. I know, biologically, survival is ingrained in us, but we also make decisions based on our environment and not all environments are worth surviving. Sorry if that triggers people but I'm putting it out there, anyway. Let's see how the rest of this movie goes.

Since watching the whale for the first time here I thought I would check out some reviews of it. Well this may be one of the most devisive movies in the history of movies. I have seen real hate for this and I seen people who are praising it as well. Most critics seem to dislike this pretty intensly. And well people on the internet talking about this movie has been really toxic. So Biss you said you do read all these comments here on patreon, I wanted to say and suggest that you prepare yourself for some not so good comments once you post this to Youtube. Hopefully it won't get as ugly in the comment section as I fear it might.

Hey biss I worked with a guy not as far gone as this but he was on that path he was 6 feet tall 450 pounds. I ran into him after about 20 years he looked like a different person at 180 pounds I did not even recognize him. I was so happy for him. OK reaction is finished and we shared some more tears, the both of us. WTH Biss we gonna need a month of comedies to get back on track. We need tears of laughter.

First of all this movie has a cast of 8 actors according to google which means nothing really other than it has very few actors . And OMG is that Brendan Fraser? It is... WOW. I hope its good lets find out together. You should check out Extraodinary Measures with Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford if you have the time. Ok let's go.
