Can't wait for Volume 2!! Also, Reservoir Dogs is my 2nd favorite Tarantino movie after Pulp Fiction. Which happens to be Tarantino's first movie.

The El Paso cops are also real life father and son. Micheal Parks (pop) and James Parks (son number one). I LOVE your reaction Biss, to Buck getting fucked up by the Bride in hospital. The violence in the scene was kinda funny. I have said that I struggle with anime, but the O Ren Ishii scene was dope AF So in the fight scene in that restaurant or bar, you noticed it turns to black and white, right,? Well the MPAA (the association that rates movies with R rating, pg 13 and all that) threatened to give the movie a NC 17 rating cuz of the amount of blood and gore seen thru out the movie. Which meant only a tiny amount of theaters in the US would show the movie with that rating. So Tarantino found a way around the rules by going black and white which was what some TV shows and movies did back in the day to tone down the violence and gore. The rules state too much Red blood and gore will result in a more strict rating. Yeah it ridiculous.

Even though I love Reservoir Dogs, personally I can only justify placing it above Death Proof and The Hateful Eight, which pains me to say. I do think RD might be his “coolest” movie though. Like I even feel cool watching it if that makes sense lol

One of the most fun theater experiences I can remember. I was blown away by the cinematography and music. I also love the over-the-top, cartoonist violence.

My ranking of the four Tarantino films we've watched: 1. Pulp Fiction (easy placement) 2. Django Unchained 3. Kill Bill 4. Inglorious Basterds Pulp Fiction will always be my number one (it's one of my all-time favorite movies). The other three I love about the same and honestly their rankings could change depending on my mood at the time.

Pulp Fiction isTarantino's best movie, Reservoir Dogs is a close second. After that he started making money, and his movies became to commercialized. Just my opinion. Not saying there bad, just not as good as when he was hungry.
