The blast from the grenade likely ruptured something inside of Jackson causing him internal bleeding. Eventually he blead out, inside of himself and died.

The opening theme, was that they were beginning to see the end of the war. That the Germans was on the backfoot, and maybe they could survive. Webster had been fighting many months, but missed the Bastogne and naturally he also was thinking of this. But IMO he never tried to avoid danger in this series, but he's thinking of it. I feel she miss interpeted this thought, and other I read comment of. But his actions is quite noble, even thou we get the impression he didnt do his outmost to get back to the frontline. He managed to get the fresh Lt.Jones to experience a mission. And when he was reminded there were two translators he pointed this out so he other one could stand this mission out. Maybe I interpeted this wrong, but I dont think so...

Absolutely a change of theme is a great idea. Especially after the next B.O.B. episode which is going to be quite difficult thing to watch for those that haven't seen it before.

Awesome reaction Biss! You are right about Webster he does give that impression, not sure if you did reconize Lt Jones. That is actually Tom Hanks real son, they were very similar in Toms youth. The reason for using the lighter on the sight of the gun was to make it more dark reduce the reflection from moonlight during these sneaky moments, a reflection of a scope or plain metal could make it shine and give away the position. I understand you need a relax from all these movies, our suggestions has been intense when it comes to what kind of movies to react to. Looking forward to see you in the next one and always, THUNDER!

16 is a very young age to serve in war but as shocking as it may sound he wasn't the youngest. Calvin Graham who enlisted in the US Navy during WWII at the age of 12 years old.

The bag Webster was hiding was a timed explosive/bomb. He is hiding it in hopes that by the time the Germans replace the other Germans that were taken prisoners that can kill them without risking anymore American soldiers lives.

Yes I think it is a good idea to find a show or some movies that not war related. There are other great war movies to seen for sure, but there is time for that later. TY TY I continue to enjoy sharing this with you.

Biss, you mentioned the interviews at the beginning of the episodes. They are from WE STAND ALONE TOGETHER. Please be sure to react to it after episode 10. You will really find it Happy, Sad and Inspiring.

My dad was a West pointer. It’s a military academy in the United States. Essentially the premier four year officer college. Presidents and some of our greatest military leaders have went there. The ring he was putting on around his dog tag chain was his class ring. I’ll Find a photo of my dad’s West Point ring and reply to this comment with it
