I think this movie was kind of predictable in the message it was going to state. I mean in today's society there was no way a Barbie movie was going to be anything other.

That was not my cup of tea. The movie just felt like it didn't know what it was. Is it satire? A feel good/positivity of everyone movie? Is it meant for nostalgia only, if so that doesn't make a movie. The comedy in my opinions is too dumb for adults, yet too vulgar for children. Though I can't stand Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler comedies, so it could just be me. It felt like an idea that a 17 yr old son of an executive thought of and a studio threw pastel paint and money at it. I do agree Margot Robbie is a pretty perfect Barbie. At one point at the start I had to check if Quentin Tarantino directed this with the absurd feet obsession. My childhood was mostly comic book stuff and TMNT figures. Thanks for all the content!

I have to admit, it was better than what I thought it would be. Yeah, feminism is a big thing. Hollywood likes pushing it these days. Kinda used to it at this point. I like the fact that it made you uncomfortable. I like seeing you question things. I wouldn't watch it again, but the reaction overall was enjoyable. Glad I watched it.
