It's been a great week, I've been drawing quite a bit and of the 41 CGs and BGs that I've needed to draw for this update, 19 remain. Some are more complex than others, but I'm feeling really good about the progress I've made on those so far. We're so close, and I'm very excited about getting to that finish line and finally getting on to the testing and polish phase.
I'd love to hop on stream sometime this week (like I did last week) but at this point, the number of CGs I'm able to draw on stream at this point are pretty skim (they're either super spoilery, or super NSFW, which I know Twitch ain't a fan of). But I am looking forward to hosting some kinda Q and A session while I draw, (but not show you guys what I'm drawing) to hangout with you all more. More details to come once I've figured out what day and time to do it. I hope you can drop in, but if you're unable to maybe you can drop a Q in my DMs on discord and I can answer it later for you :).
Speaking of Qs, I've been receiving quite a few on Tumblr, and I'm loving it! I've filled a request to write a short one-shot about Jace and MC, so if you're interested in reading it, definitely check it out here. It's not necessarily canon, but its in the universe that's been created, and you won't see the scene in game, so it's just a fun little writing exercise. I have a few more coming through the pipeline, and will release those when I have the time and energy to do so, so follow the blog to get your smut/romance fix in the meantime.
Also, I'm starting to share some of the amazing fanart, and fan works I've been receiving on discord. So many of you are incredibly talented, and I love getting to see all of your interpretations the characters, from artwork, moodboards to even playlists, I'm always happy to share it with others!!!
Also, on the topic of discord, I have to give a special shoutout to the tinfoil hat club aka the amazing contributors to the the spoiler-chat channel on discord. If you're ever looking for a laugh, definitely give the chat a read, there's a lot of wild, hilarious and potentially accurate guesses as to what's been going on in Sugardale and who's who. I invite you all to throw in your two cents on your guesses before the next update as well, I'm always fascinated to see how theories change before and after updates!
Seeing the community grow every day really does make me beyond happy and motivates the hell out of me because even though I set out to create a game I wanted to play, I realize there are so many others that appreciate what I'm trying to do, and I wanna make you guys proud as well! After this upcoming release, I know I said I'll be taking a week off, and while I will take time away from working on the game itself, I think it would be cool to brainstorm more community based events/things to keep the fun of Sugardale going to hold you all over in between updates.
I've got a few initial ideas brewing, but once I've got v0.3 off my plate, I'll have more space to think about it, of course, input from you all would be great as well.
Lastly, I did an interview with Interact-if on Tumblr for black history month. I was honored to be featured as a black creator on the site, so if you wanna read about that, check that out here .

Absolutely, so the first "version" is the demo, that's the first 30 min of the game free to play for anyone (patron or not). After that, theres v0.2, which is available to download for patrons who pay $3 or above. v0.2 is a continuation of the demo, but has a lot more content (3-10 hours more of content to play through). The next update (v0.3) will be a continuation from v0.2 and will be available to patrons at different dates, depending on which rank they have. V0.3 isn't out yet, but will be fairly soon. Does that clear things up for you? :)
