🕑 Added 2018-11-28 22:38:28 +0000 UTC In which a fox goes to get a bottle of water. Exciting page!Looking back at it now, I wish I hadn't added that stutter to the fennec's speech in the first panel. It makes him look kind of timid which isn't really what I wanted- I wanted more of a "Aw, man, c'mon" feeling. Didn't quite nail it, but he's not supposed to be a super meek character or anything.
Unfortunately I'm a traditional artist and can't do shit about it now, so we'll all just have to live with it. x3
Also the door slamming shut didn't really work out on paper like it did in my head. I really have to go and look at some other comics sometime to get a better feel for how to add impact to motion.
On the plus side, I really like how the fennec came out in that second panel. Lookit his cute little fennec face!
Anyway, just my thoughts on this one.
Not the most exciting of pages but I hope y'all like it anyway, and as always I'd be happy to hear any thoughts you may have!

i can imagine the interview for being a fluffer would be interesting lol
I forgot that hitting return on my phone submits the comment instead of a line break. To continue: the third panel he looks pissed off. This kinda works. First: he’s timid because he’s new and doesn’t want to make waves. Then he’s over-compensating for his timid talk back with over enthusiastic confirmation that he’s on it. Finally settling on his real emotions when he calls his boss a jerk in his head.
In the first panel Kyle does look timid with his face and body language so that at least matches the studder?With the second panel I read it as though there were an exclamation mark instead of a period. Mainly due to his expression. It looks like he’s eager and happy to go off on his errand.

Yes he goes to get some water, but at the same time it continued to define the dynamic of what he does, and how he's treated there. Important plot development! As a reminder, you haven't forgotten his facial markings yet :)
