Feral Dragon/thingy model - Day 1 (Sculpt)
🕑 Added 2019-04-25 01:25:58 +0000 UTCHere's what I got done today! I wanted to add a feral to my toybox of models to mess around with, should the mood ever strike. It'll also be nice to have something I can show to friends finally. It's definitely going to be 'adult capable', but I feel like it's going to be significantly easier to obstruct the dirty bits so I might be able to make some stuff I can show them, heh.
This is just an early sculpt- you can think of it sort of like the 'rough sketch' for a model. So don't worry about it being kinda rough and bumpy in places, that's not really an issue at this stage. So don't worry too much about fine details, but I would certainly welcome any feedback on the broad strokes! I'm certainly no expert on feral critters, not something I have a lot of experience with, so I'd love to know how I'm doin' so far.
There are a few places I'm already thinking of tweaking- it's face shape is a little off, for example. But I think I'm getting close! Also, this is just sort of a 'base'- there'll be something running down his back in the final version, I bet. Fluff or spines or feathers, I dunno, it won't be quite so 'naked' in the final version.
I'm including a little turnaround animation in the attachments if you want to check that out. Two different versions, just different file formats because I can never tell what's going to work for people.

Ooh, I don't think it's nearly big enough for that. I'm aiming for around the size of a big dog. A very big dog, but a big dog none the less. :P

Dragon wears harness. Anthro wears harness. Anthro harness and dragon harness are connected to align suitable entrance of anthro with dragon's genitalia and dragon is stimulated.

Indeed! I wanted something kinda slinky lookin'. I don't think I'd yet be able to do a really big monstrous dragon justice just yet... maybe in the future! But this I can handle. I also think this will look better potentially interacting with my other characters. Tiny little dragon thing. :P I agree about the front legs. That'll be easier to fix later in the process, but definitely they need to be a bit thicker and I'll be touching that up when the time comes!

Well I'll be the first to admit that this isn't quite what I expected when you said you were going to be working on a feral dragon-type model, but that I'm also pleasantly surprised! I think you've got a very unique design here and reminds me of a faerie theme--a little more lithe and slender than normal fantasy dragon designs. I think the only anatomical suggestions would be to give a bit more bulk to the front legs, specifically towards the lower half. They feel a little out of proportion with the hind legs considering the weight distribution of the torso and haunches is fairly balanced. I'm interested to see what you have in store for this one!
