Aw damn, thanks man! I've still got a huge amount to learn about animation and making good models but I'm glad people are enjoying my attempts so far. :D

I'm definitely excited to try this out in a more serious way at some point. Though it's going to take sooo much time to get the fluids right, that part'll suck... but it'll be worth it if it ends up working well. :D

The wet-on-dry layer thing was just a fluke to be honest, I think I made the change on his 'skin' a little too glossy and it's reflecting light back at us making it look like dark fur on lighter fur. But I'll have to keep that look in mind when I try a more serious project! :P Yeah, the fluid itself is all messed up. Things like viscosity add huge amounts of time to fluid baking, and are challenging to get correct which means you have to take the slower bakes and try them more times to get them right. Real time sink. But when I do something a bit more serious, definitely worth taking the time for, and with the fluid addon I've got I should be able to do it. So hopefully we'll see that eventually!

wow, simply wow. I had never seen this quality in 3D furry works before. Your animations are spot on, the character feel alive. I jest not, as far as i'm concerned, you are already become one of the best in 3D furry. Go Ru!

Pretty cool development honestly. Every step you take like this will lead to better and better animations in the future, and more polish over time. This is honestly how animation studios often do things, they'll come up with an idea for something, develop it and test it, tweak it as needed, and then add other effects to go with it once they are happy with the process they've made.

Thaaaaat's cool :D There's so much potential in this breakthrough! It looks spot on, in my books. You captured the fact that the top layer of fur gets wet and creates a little layer above still-dry fur beneath that kind of cracks and parts, letting glimpses of the dry fur shine through the wet layer. Spot on. Maybe the next fluid challenge to tackle is viscosity and cling? Right now the fluids behave like they are interacting with a hydrophobic surface, rolling off of it and not traveling through it, leaving bits along the way. I imagine that would be extremely difficult to animate but when you're ready... It would be something I have never really seen done right in an animation yet!
