Got a good start to the mesh and have her all retopologized, so she's just about ready to start rigging. I also sometimes get asked to show wireframes of my characters, and while I kind of hesitate to do so over on FA because it seems like extremely niche content, you guys are my niche so it's probably worth tossing up here. :P Warning, these are pretty hefty files!
Note that models always look terrifying when they don't have their colours on (or at least, mine do), and that there will likely be tons of tweaks and adjustments as I go, but... whatcha think so far? Do you like the direction I'm going with toony ferret thing? It's not too late to make a few tweaks!

The mesh looks so clean! Do you have to do much retopologizing to get it like that?

Thanks for addressing the uh, bust area. That was the one thing I was a little hesitant about on the toony body even though I voted for it. Proportions are fine, I think, and yeah, ears could be rounder.

The short muzzle is a stylistic choice, part of the toonier/more stylized direction I'm taking the model, but I can see about tweaking the ears!

Needs to be LOOOOnger. Floof noodles are always a bit longer than they should be. Looks good so far. My vote is also for the flat chested girl.

I think ferrets have a slightly longer muzzle, and their ears are a bit less pointy, and more rounded. Just some gentle changes that will make the head a bit less cat like for me. That said, you're the expert here :)

mhhhmm if you might head to the idea you should make a pool for it to as i know people can be very persistent saying "uhhh" ferret claws cant retract...

In all seriousness though, the model looks great. I think if anything they add character and style options should you wish to cloth them later down the line.
