Considering Commission Slot Cooldown Period: Thoughts?

I apologize for changing the system up this year. I'll look into better times to post. From looking online, 12PM Pacific Time might be when most people are awake? I will have to look into timezones more.

Random selection isn't terrible. That's the system I have used for the past few years. The main drawback I've found: It was mentally exhausting keeping track and make sure everyone had a fair shot. I just want to try a new system out for a while. Ultimately, if this first come first serve system doesn't work out then I will go back to weekly chosen slots.

Do you have anything against random selection? I would leave a form open for 24 hours for people to denote interest then randomly select from that pool for X amount of time. X being how long you want the effective 'cooldown' period to be before you re-open the form for new applications. Or you could just exhaust the list before re-opening.

Could do something like a really simple google doc, where you say "Taking 3 slots of 5 stickers tomorrow" people put their interest in (No other details just their name) for patreon only and then you choose people based on when they last had art from you?

Still prefer your old one where you allowed people to all put their ideas forward and you chose. I mean this way currently I am lucky to get a slot in the next 6 months considering they get taken in 20 seconds and usually when it's 2am for me!
