My problem with all. The marvel/ superhero stuff that's getting produced today is that it's not going to age well. It's just not.... Because it's so interconnected. Look at this movie. Deadpool and Wolverine Is literally going to be the highest grossing movie of 2024, but to fully enjoy it And get every reference and every joke, you basically have to see 15 other movies. No one is going to care about that in 2050. 2060. And you can say that about the majority of the MCU. It's just crazy to me that This stuff has dominated the film industry for the past 15 or 20 years, but I don't think it's going to stand the test of time.

Unless she starts with Spider-Man (1977), I vote to lay off Marvel for a while (say, until 2030).

I hope you watch the others/non-MCU movies. Daredevil wasn’t the worst. Fantastic Fours were OK although I didn’t see the reboot. Blade - I’m glad you’re getting to that cause my dirty little pop culture secret is I’ve never seen that trilogy. And I own Blade #1. Include Ghost Rider in the non-MCU films. Huge fan of the 90s version of that comic. PS Gotta flex the nerd cred as I also own X-Force #1 Cable #1 Wolverine #1. Punisher #1 as well…check out the various Punisher movies!

I'm a Marvel Fan and have been a Superman fan since I saw Christopher Reeve in the 1978 classic. So, when I say the following, I'm not just a hater.............I am soooooo tired of super hero movies. If it doesn't have a spandex costume or isn't a sequel (or part of a 'universe'), it'll have a hard time getting made today. Kirk out.
