About Game Project

Not at the beginning of the month, but since I achieved 500 patrons, I would like to tell you about my patreon's goal, the game project.
First of all, thank you very much for your support. I was able to achieve my goals much faster than I thought.
Starting a game project right away means a shutdown of FL and other projects. Maybe that's not what we want. Therefore, the game project is intended to proceed after FL project is completed.
Why FL Should End
Probably the first game project will be Fallen lady game.
Fallen Lady Game
Fallen Lady Game (FLG) will be a visual novel game. For me, the game project is a new challenge. There will be a lot of trial and error. Therefore, I think it makes sense to choose a genre that is easy to complete.
I will re-use the resources of the current FL set for FLG. But there will be many new images for branches. It would be a new way to enjoy FL. For example, in FL2, we will be able to see what would happen if Karen follows Josce's word.
When can we play FLG?
FL is going to be a very long series. When I made ES, I thought about ending in part 8 or 9. However, FL won't finish until I have completed all the stories I envisioned without such restrictions. If it gets too long, I am also considering dividing it by season. So I don't know when I will start to create the FLG project, and you'll play it. However, I do not intend to make FLG a long project. When I begin making FLG, I will do my best to make sure you enjoy it as soon as possible.
Other projects (MEO, Message, etc.)
After the first game project is over, I will decide on future projects based on your opinions and feedback and my preferences.
MEO or MSG would be well-fitted in a different genre than a visual novel. But it will take a lot of time and effort. I will also be able to start a whole new project for the game project.
Also, as mentioned above, FLG won't be a long project. I will make FLG by dividing it into several series—for example, FLG-Saintess edition, FLG-Queen Edition, etc. So, after completing one FLG, I might create an image set for another project, too.
Finally,
I can modify my current plan to consider your feedback and my situation and abilities.
My ultimate goal is to create content that you can enjoy and that can be a reason to support me. The game is just one of the means for that. I will always do my best to make great work.

ofc if it was what Jared wants, then it would be what he wants, but i'm relieved to hear he's just thinking about a visual novel anyway. i like playing games a lot, but game programming mostly isn't core competence of 3dcg artists. totally different thing. most porn games just turn out shitty. anyway there's usually a whole team of artists, designers and programmers involved in game development. for one guy to make a good game worth playing, that's not very realistic, and even if it works out it takes a looooooong time.

Hi, robinhood0111. What I'm trying to make is a visual novel game. It is not a full-3D graphic game. It consists mainly of images and text, and you can follow the story and make decisions at important points. Full 3D graphics games are not something I can make. Since FLG is a game that uses 2D resources rather than 3D resources, it will be able to run on most PCs.

Thanks! Halomateo! But I prefer individual work. Sometimes my work schedule is murderous, so I can't force it on others. And before I can find a team member to do the coding work for me, I need to know about that field. That's because I can manage all situations. Anyway, thank you for your suggestion!

Hi, Aaron Yang. As mentioned above, don't worry about that. A game is just a means, not a goal itself. The most important thing for me is the proper amount of content with the best quality.

Thank you. But, there seems to be no one who doesn't like making games yet. However, there seems to be a concern that the time I actually create content is reduced because of the coding or like that when I am making a game. I'm thinking of several ways to solve it. VN is a game form that can be the best show images, videos, and stories. And it has a smaller burden on coding or programming knowledge compared to other genres. I'm also thinking of building a team. However, this is the next best plan because I prefer individual work. Anyway, it's a distant future for us to start a game project. As mentioned above, FL series will be the longest project I have ever made.

does "game" mean a picture player where you can choose several pathes / storyline varies according to your decisions? or is it meant to be a "real" game with pictures as incentives when you finished some quest or so? i'm personally not interested in a "real" game at all. neither in the other version, not really, but at least it wouldn't eat up too much of your time you could also spend on rendering great pix.
